They were sitting right there with obvious need. Didn't they just draft Lynch a year or two earlier? You can't keep going to the well year after year with 1st round QB's Elway is probably gun shy by this point.

What if stupid Elway offered Denver's next FOUR #1's for Josh in the offseason? Asking for fun, obviously. If Elway offered four #1s for Josh, and the Bills accepted the offer, Josh would be injured in the next training camp. The Broncos are snakebite about QBs.
london_bills Posted November 20, 2019 Posted November 20, 2019 I feel like this about drafting allen We 100 percent have the right player because he's so exciting to watch. I think that matters. Not sure whether he's good enough/the answer long term but it's also an interesting thing to ponder.

Bridgewater is probably the best name. Garoppolo went in the same draft. the year he draft Lynch, Brisett and Dak were drafted later. He also missed out on Nate Peterman But in 2018, he had a chance at Josh Allen, Rosen, and Jackson and passed on all three. Rosen clearly hasnt lived up to expectations, but JA and LJ are looking like bad misses 54 minutes ago, Buffalo716 said: Vea went after Allen They didn't have a chance We swapped with Tampa to draft Allen. Maine-iac Posted November 20, 2019 Posted November 20, 2019 Putting aside the drafting Josh Allen argument for a second just to say that the guy (Brandon Allen) playing now lit Cleveland up and played well enough to get them a win vs the Vikings if the Broncos D didn't choke that game away. I guess in the end they still have an Allen playing QB.

So this is Zerovoltz post back in June. "His accuracy sucks....he's never been accurate...was it a mistake to pass on him?" LOL! Josh Allen 06-30-2019, 10:35 PM Josh Allen (the QB) has been getting a lot of run this offseason as a guy to watch....big improvement coming etc etc. I wouldn't have drafted Josh Allen, and I was dissappointed that hte Broncos passed him becasue I thought he would suck....You all took of course took Chubb...passing both Allen and Rosen. I haven't seen much of anyone here talking about it, but was it a mistake to pass on Allen? He's fun to watch play....his accuracy sucks..but he can run and scramble. The roster around him wasn't all that good but he's never been accurate.
badassgixxer05 Posted November 20, 2019 Posted November 20, 2019 Chubb is really really good. But if Allen turns out to be a franchise qb, then that was def a miss for the Broncos. Franchise qb > elite pass rusher.

If not Gronkowski, then Jimmy Graham or any of the other 3 or 4 tight ends in the greatest TE draft in the history of the league. 1

We still could've gotten White and the 22nd pick just by moving down like we did. 2013 - Seeing as we wouldn't need a QB this year we could've gotten DeAndre Hopkins in the 1st and LeVeon Bell in the 2nd. Both without having to move up. Instead we got EJ Manuel. Wilson, Hopkins and Bell ... That's a helluva trio.
billspro Posted November 20, 2019 Posted November 20, 2019 Never pass on a QB if you don’t have one. I’m thankful they did.
