eball Posted November 19, 2019 Posted November 19, 2019 I've heard of Mighty Sam Young. The others? Not so much.
GG Posted November 19, 2019 Posted November 19, 2019 Sam Young is never far away is he? Would love to hear the hot takes of everyone laughing at the possibility of bringing Seantrel back.

FLFan Posted November 19, 2019 Posted November 19, 2019 (edited) Ty is done for the year and he very well knew it when they took him off the field. You could see it in his face. Our depth at Tackle was always a question going into the year and unfortunately the worst has happened. Ford will be fine and Bates is questionable at best, but he is now the man. It will be very hard (impossible ?) though to find someone capable who can learn the offense and play with 6 weeks to go. They are really looking for a backup to Bates at this point. As for Henderson, no thanks. He has had plenty of chances here and he is unlikely to get one more from this management team. Edited November 19, 2019 by FLFan 1

I thought we had adequate tackle depth going into TC. Losing Waddle and Ty is rough, but hardly the worst that could happen (thats losing Dawkins). I think they can find someone that can learn the system and be better than Bates for 6 weeks. We need a back up not a starter so he hopefully shouldnt have to play. 2
wppete Posted November 19, 2019 Posted November 19, 2019 I’m really hoping Cody Ford steps you bigtime! 3 1

blacklabel Posted November 19, 2019 Posted November 19, 2019 They must not be real thrilled at what they've seen from the two OL on their practice squad. But then again, Tuesdays are the day where teams across the league hold tryouts so this is probably business as usual with a focus on OT's due to Nsekhe's injury.
atlbillsfan1975 Posted November 19, 2019 Posted November 19, 2019 May just be doing due diligence or might mean they don’t think Bates can handle the swing tackle spot. Let’s see who they fill Nsekhe’s spot with.
Cheesus Posted November 19, 2019 Posted November 19, 2019 It's amazing how little tackle depth there is in this league 1
1st&ten Posted November 19, 2019 Posted November 19, 2019 Didn't Bates play some in a game this year & do ok ? Or did he fill in at guard ?
