Maybe it’s analytics. Maybe Lee Smith averages a stupid penalty every 8 snaps.

He really takes it out on his helmet like it was the reason for the false start or a handful of jersey. He really beats on it unmercifully. RIP Lee Smith’s helmet

From the Buffalo News this a.m.; should make a lot of folks happy.  Perhaps this is a sign that the Bills are finally figuring out "who they are" on offense and creating an identity -- or it's just the personnel grouping that they felt worked best against Miami.  In either case, 37 pts and 400+ of offense is nothing to sneeze at.

1. The Bills didn’t use their “heavy” offensive package much. Blocking tight end Lee Smith played a season-low seven snaps (10%), while fullback Patrick DiMarco was on the field for just four snaps (6%).

Finally! Both have no business on an NFL team.

The word *great* is used too loosely around here

He had 55 receptions last year on a bad Jaguars offense...dude can be a weapon if used properly im the pass game.

Daboll changes his offensive gameplan massively game to game. I will be happy when I see something consistently working.

It would not shock me to see DiMarco out wide this week again and Lee Smith getting his 3 penalties.

I feel like I’ve been seeing the same offense for the last 15 years. When we run an RPO or a misdirection or Jets sweep, we all feel like a big boy team for five seconds. Also, our lack of a screen game will hurt us down the stretch.

I was hoping for a better update, but this one us acceptable lol

I love Lee Smith, always willing to lend a hand to the offense.

A backhand!

While they have have a stout defense, the Broncos appear to be among the bottom feeders in takeaways. I think Allen shd continue to be "fearless" and Daboll shd consider making DiMarco and Smith inactive.

I don't know about Smith but DiMarcio does do a lot on special teams. I look at Dimarco as a ST player who can be a specialist at FB.

Wouldn't it b e nice if the Bills could find one guy to do both jobs......they call that an H back I think.

I am usually not the sentamental type, but Gore carried this team when we did not have a deep bench at RB this year and at times was the only real spark.

He is still a good back to have back there in pass-pro, and although teams have been getting to his feet with well executed run blitzes, I think he still has a role to play.

Reduce his touches so he can keep his legs a bit fresher for those short yardage situations between the tackles when they call his number. Don't use him on stretch plays that require more cutback, change of direction, and burst ability, but let him spell the kid when needed.

That is the balance I hope they continue to leverage.

As I watched KC last night, I was wishing the Bills had kept Shady and let Gore ride off into the sunset.

Yeldon is better then people think and at this stage he’s better then Gore. It’s just going to be one of those things we never actually get to find out though because Dabol is obsessed with wasting touches on a guy that’s 5+ years past his prime. It’s not even about Yeldon as much as it is about not continuously giving the ball to Gore. This has a chance to be a really special season and Gore served his purpose. He got us through some tough times and helped up bring along Singletary. But now it’s time to get serious and for the last month it’s clear Gores legs are shot. It’s time to try and take advantage of this season and get some fresh legs to go with Singletary. Bring back Murphy I don’t care. It just has to stop being Gore. You don’t have to cut the guy. Keep him around and give him 2 or 3 touches a game. But he gets the ball way, way to much. He’s done.

I like this idea.

Give Gore the week off and let Yeldon play. Especially with a short week coming up, Gore can use all the rest he can get.

Yeldon has had plenty of rest, and I feel we are wasting a roster spot by not having him play more.

Shady still has some wiggle left in him.

Was kind of relieved that we would leave the hammy issues and missed games he had behind with our shiny new RB, then Singletary pulled his hammy. The irony was not lost on me.

He still holds the ball like a loaf of bread. He got sooooo lucky that fumble somehow landed back in his hands near the goal line.

Why do you want to activate Yeldon? Would you like the other team to have the ball more? Gore might have the burst of a snail on speed but I'd actually dress that same snail before I'd dress Yeldon. He sucks.

I'll second that motion.

Yeldon is a great pass catching back

In space. With close coverage he shows to be quite adverse to contact. Zero toughness. Cut him.

Shady has also been a healthy scratch this year.

You really want our locker room dealing with that?
