I was continuing a on-going pattern of responses indicating Bates as the alternative to Seantrel. He’s not an “alternative” to him if they are both on the team. Bates is already on the 53. They would be both be in depth roles.

I was responding to a To a question that asked who would be the better alternative. The alternative is already on the team and that is Ryan Bates. Not really sure why you decided that you needed to respond the way you did, but I’ll just let it go and carry-on.
CSBill Posted November 24, 2019 Posted November 24, 2019 I hoping Bates gets some snaps today to spell Ford (just for the rest, not because Ford is doing terrible). Whoever is out there, they will be tested by the Broncos D-line and linebackers.

The tackles were Dawkins-Nsekhe-Ford-Bates. The argument is what is the best possible 4 now with Nsekhe out? Dawkins-Ford-Bates-? That is where Henderson enters the conversation (or whomever people prefer as that guy).
dollars 2 donuts Posted November 24, 2019 Posted November 24, 2019 I didn’t read through this entire thread To see if any one posted this. although this regime was the one that cut him I remembering reading articles where McDermott and staff were quoted about being very impressed with his work ethic. it has been a tough road for him after his issues in college, but I like seeing that the kid got some years in, and some money out of, the nfl.

Marijuana (or opioids, for that matter) is not part of the standard of care for treating Crohn’s disease. It is not prescribed, typically, by Crohns specialists to treat the acute or chronic phases of this disease. Henderson would not, therefore, have received a medical exception. Knowing this, he smoked anyway, knowing it was a violation. The consequences are his to bear. There is no alternative in this situation at this point. I'm sure if he signs with the Pats you'll come up with a lot of alternative reasonings.

They need to replace Nseckhe roster spot in either the short term or long term depending how long he’s out. Bates already has a roster spot. That’s all. 1

I took it as who was going to replace Nsekhe’s active roster spot. Bates being most-often inactive this season but on the roster made him the logical choice from that perspective.

Conlan58 Posted November 25, 2019 Posted November 25, 2019 I think with todays oline performance and Ty being week to week, we won't see any signings any time soon 1
