BuffaloMatt Posted November 18, 2019 Posted November 18, 2019 Surprising spread after the Vikings game. Thought we would be home dogs again.

BuffaloMatt Posted November 18, 2019 Posted November 18, 2019 I like us better with the underdog edge. Still working on our swagger. 1
RoboTronic Posted November 18, 2019 Posted November 18, 2019 Broncos are one of the better "bad teams". It's similar to the Browns game but at home. 3

Patrick Duffy Posted November 18, 2019 Posted November 18, 2019 Hope Ford can contain Von Miller for the most part. This may be a week where we see some decent screen plays. 3 1
CommonCents Posted November 18, 2019 Posted November 18, 2019 (edited) The crowd will play a big part. Bring the noise and disrupt the young QB. Edited November 18, 2019 by CommonCents 2 2
Greg S Posted November 18, 2019 Posted November 18, 2019 This will be a tough game. A few weeks ago Denver went into Indy and had the lead most of the way until a FG in the final seconds gave the Colts the win. Yesterday the Vikes needed a huge 2nd half rally to win. This will be a good test for Allen and the offense as the Broncos D is no joke. I do think the Bills D will handle the Broncos offense. With what is coming up at Dallas, Baltimore, at Pitt, at NE this is a must win. I think the Bills win a close one 20-17.
atlbillsfan1975 Posted November 18, 2019 Posted November 18, 2019 We need Cody to step up big time against Von Miller. Brandon Allen isn’t a scary QB to face. Staff has two games to study. I feel McDermott and Frazier can hold him in check. Run D will be tested again.

Ford is a rookie potentially going up against a 9 year vet who has been to 7 pro bowls, a 3x first team all-pro, has over 100 career sacks, a Super Bowl MVP and potentially a HOF jacket. 1

Not really. The offenses of the two teams are very different. The biggest issue for Bills in this game is V. Miller and game planning to deal with him. Ryan Bates should be activated this week.

CaptnCoke11 Posted November 18, 2019 Posted November 18, 2019 Denver struggled with play action against Minnesota. I’d stick with a heavy dose of that 2

The Frankish Reich Posted November 18, 2019 Posted November 18, 2019 I just posted this on the "Broncos in Turmoil" thread, but since the conversation has moved here ... my thoughts on why the Broncos game will likely be a close one: As bad as Fangio's debut as a 60-something HC has been: - the Broncos have lost 3 games in the final 22 seconds (partly bad coaching/clock management, partly bad luck), and that doesn't include yesterday - as bad as the O line and QB situation has been they've still been able to run the ball effectively most of the time. Lindsay and Freeman are a really good 1-2 punch - the D is still formidable, and Von Miller appeared to wake up yesterday, and Shelby Harris is emerging as a playmaker on the D line - Elway has generally been a big fail as a GM, but he has put together some real young talent at skill position on offense: Courtland Sutton is moving into the top tier of WRs, and they got back another 2018 draft pick in Tim Patrick that gives them 2 big receivers that cause some matchup problems (if only a QB could get them the ball reliably ...). Noah Fant has had a difficult adjustment to the NFL, but he's an uber talented athlete at TE. So this is a team that is not to be taken lightly. The weird thing is how slowly they're trying to work in Drew Lock at QB, almost as if they see something really problematic in his development that fans haven't been able to see yet .... 1 1

SCBills Posted November 18, 2019 Posted November 18, 2019 This Broncos Defense will be a better indicator of "play fearless". If we see anything close to what we saw against Miami, we may be onto something... 1
