JLC's report has been beat back by several local Broncos beat writers, and Cecil Lammey (footballguys.com and local broncos radio guy) - who went on a twitter diatribe yesterday against that report, saying JLC has no friggin clue what he hes talking about, and that the locker room is actually pretty tight and behind Fangio and his "process". So take it for what its worth.

I do really like seeing them blow that lead against the Vikings yesterday though, hopefully all wind is out of their sails now.

JLC is sometimes FOS. But usually when he reports stuff like this, there is something to it. It’s not completely made up.  The truth is probably somewhere in the middle.

Yeah, I'm leaning this way as well.  I posted it in another thread, but despite pretty horrific QB play the Broncos have been in almost every game and have found excruciating ways to lose.  A few bounces and this could be a 7=3 or 6-4 team.  It will not likely be an "easy" win next week.

let’s hope this week few of those bounces go our way as well ,

I have no doubt that our  defense  will be feasting on that Denver offense,  let’s hope our offense keeps rolling all the way to the playoffs!!!

Go Bills

Fangio is an odd (dumb) hire by Elway. His second in a row.

My theory that former jocks who could once throw a football over dem mountains do not make good front office executives is being proven right more and more by the day.

ANOTHER problem team just like the Eagles & Browns were suppose to be.

Not buying any of this garbage.....

Eagles and Browns still has hope when they played the Bills and were desperate for a win.

There is no hope in Denver.

  • According to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports, Broncos coach Vic Fangio has had a "difficult time" connecting with players and coaches, leading to "internal tension" within the organization.

Fangio's debut season in Denver has largely been a disaster as the first-time head coach has reportedly rubbed many the wrong way with his "gruff demeanor," creating a tense atmosphere characterized by "internal strife." Per La Canfora has often been at odds with his assistants, continually disputing play-calls while coming off as "overbearing on the headsets." Many in the organization feel Fangio lacks "people skills," making for a "difficult climate." Fangio's hard-nosed approach reportedly alienated Emmanuel Sanders, who "in essence walked out on the team" prior to being traded. Beleaguered GM John Elway whiffed on Vance Joseph and the move to Fangio doesn't seem to be going much better.

This little tidbit appeared on RotoWorld this Sunday morning before the Broncos frittered away a 20 point second half lead to lose a crusher to the Vikings.  The Broncos are a team in turmoil.  It doesn't sound like they have a good locker room right now.  Let's hope they bring a bit of that 3-7 dysfunction to New Era next week.

It's nice not to be the dysfunctional franchise for a change...

This is why some coordinators should never be head coaches. If you lack people skills it does not matter how much football you know...

As a head.coach you are CEO of a team...people have to want to follow you. If they don't you are doomed.

Also I'd like to point out that Elway is a terrible GM other than his move to lure Manning there.

That part is correct. And here in Colorado Broncos fans recognize it.

But as bad as Fangio's debut as a 60-something HC has been:

- the Broncos have lost 3 games in the final 22 seconds (partly bad coaching/clock management, partly bad luck), and that doesn't include yesterday

- as bad as the O line and QB situation has been they've still been able to run the ball effectively most of the time. Lindsay and Freeman are a really good 1-2 punch

- the D is still formidable, and Von Miller appeared to wake up yesterday, and Shelby Harris is emerging as a playmaker on the D line

- Elway has generally been a big fail as a GM, but he has put together some real young talent at skill position on offense: Courtland Sutton is moving into the top tier of WRs, and they got back another 2018 draft pick in Tim Patrick that gives them 2 big receivers that cause some matchup problems (if only a QB could get them the ball reliably ...). Noah Fant has had a difficult adjustment to the NFL, but he's an uber talented athlete at TE.

So this is a team that is not to be taken lightly. The weird thing is how slowly they're trying to work in Drew Lock at QB, almost as if they see something really problematic in his development that fans haven't been able to see yet ....

They are still fighting, normally have that down and what’s left to play for mentality eventually hit the team but they are still dangerous imo

Bills will need to bring it and im glad this game is in Buffalo

It was bad hire by John Elway, who is awful at his job.

I don’t know why he doesn’t sign another Peyton Manning.  Is he dumb or something?

Only thing is.... we have played 2 games against opponents this season amid reports of dysfunction within the team... and we lost both. If this was ever supposed to give us some type of an advantage, I stopped believing that after the Browns game (although they did play like a team that was trying not to win for a while).

And either way, for a team being led by Brandon Allen, I would say the Broncos have been looking better than they should overall. Just hoping our defense is good enough to force him into a bad game (IF we can actually stop Lindsay. Ballage was no Philip Lindsay. I’m not ready to say our run D has turned it around just yet)

Reminds me of a Doug Marrone in Buffalo!

Internal problems or not, Denver is a team with a very good defense and running game.  Bills will need to be on top of their game to get a win

Just win.  Last two teams in turmoil that thought would help Bills where Eagles and the Browns.

Truth. Outside of him lucking up on the Peyton Manning signing and getting Demarcus Ware from Dallas, he has been really bad as a GM. You would think as a former QB, and HOF'er as well, that the first thing he would be able to do is identify QB talent. He hasn't been able to do that. You wonder how long he holds his job due to his status in Denver and the fact they got a SB a few years ago.

When you have Case Keenum, you gotta pass on Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson

Elway is brutal

He is one of my favorites qbs ever. I think he is a top 10 qb all time.  But if he wasn’t John Elway, he would be getting fired. No GM is worse at scouting qbs (not a fan of Drew Lock). I bet he resigns so it isn’t too awkward.

Those other teams had a lot of talent. The Broncos do not and have a very young, inexperienced qb playing.

So, the anti-McDermott. Somewhere closer to McD but more assertive with staff would be my ideal HC.

Ugh.  First, I don't believe much that comes out of La Canfora.

Second, we got the Iggles the week after they were reputed to be a team in disarray suffering from internal strife.  How did THAT work out for us?
