Mikie2times Posted November 18, 2019 Posted November 18, 2019 I suppose it depends on your definition of done. Is he good enough to run an efficient offense? Sure. Can he lead his team to a solid record with great defensive play? Sure. Will his QB rating look appealing? Sure. Are you still scared of him putting New England on his back and willing them to victory? Not at all. Are you still thinking a loss is all but guaranteed if the game is close and New England has the ball last? Not at all. It's the start of the demise. How much longer until it turns into an abrupt decline? Not sure. He's not showing accuracy like he has in the past. Not the same pocket presence. Instead of just being annoyed by the pass rush he is completely wilting and becoming more Trent than Tom in his check down frequency. He's afraid of getting hit and can't get the ball downfield. Setting his own personal records multiple times this season as far as passing inefficiency. For the first time I'm not nervous about New England because of Tom Brady. That defense with an above average QB is a very difficult out, but he is no longer playing like the GOAT and the decline is coming. 6
Lurker Posted November 18, 2019 Posted November 18, 2019 He's good enough to manage a game. And right now, that's all the Pats need... 2 1
Warcodered Posted November 18, 2019 Posted November 18, 2019 I mean Peyton Manning was pretty done during his last SB winning season. 2 2

Lol let’s see how he looks after Wynn is back at RT and he gets a second scan the field and more importantly let’s see how Harry and Sanu do now that they are both in the offense and will have a few games under their belt.
Dr.Sack Posted November 18, 2019 Posted November 18, 2019 Brady is dangerous until he’s retired. The way to beat New England is to run for over 200 and win the time of possession BG +10 minutes. That’s been the formula for 20 years. 2
Scott7975 Posted November 18, 2019 Posted November 18, 2019 He isn't done I don't think, but I also don't think he is playing until 45. At best I think he has another year in him. He probably should just hang it up after this season really. Edelman is still a monster for him. If he went down, I don't think they would move the ball all that much anymore. 1 1

But I totally agree Edelman runs the O, although Sanu seems be getting into a groove with Brady now too.. but right now Edelman the man
YoloinOhio Posted November 18, 2019 Posted November 18, 2019 Yes that’s actually going to be Gronk’s big announcement this week 3 1

He’s a little, steroid filled, cheater so go ahead and post his picture inside your locker if you need to. 2 1 3 2
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted November 18, 2019 Posted November 18, 2019 He has 2-3 years left as an effective game manager. The guy at 45 will probably be more effective than half the starters in the league. But not entirely sure why he would want to play at that level. Just go out on top.

peterpan Posted November 18, 2019 Posted November 18, 2019 Yes I think Brady is done. He was done last year too. Problem is his line holds like crazy and he just doinks it off to some wide open wr the D forgot to cover. One good hit and he'll never play again. I have no idea why teams don't just hit him late. Shoulda been done for years. 4 1 1
Capco Posted November 18, 2019 Posted November 18, 2019 He can't throw a laser 50+ yards but he still has some gas left in that arm. I see another year at the very least.

wagon127 Posted November 18, 2019 Posted November 18, 2019 He wont be done, until he starts losing more then he wins. If he can play like he is this year, but still wins, he is still having fun. Football will only stop being fun for him when winning seems to elude him.
theAteam Posted November 18, 2019 Posted November 18, 2019 He's like the ultimate game manager at this point. He will absolutely not lose you a game. He's pretty much an OC with his IQ so he can win them a game but against good defenses he's just not making the insane throws he used to. 2
