Inigo Montoya Posted November 17, 2019 Posted November 17, 2019 (edited) Always happy with the win. Passing game looked solid and another fantastic game by Brown. Beasley came through on those underneath routes that he always seems to be open on. Might be the best the passing offense has looked all year, so I'm not throwing a rock here. Duke Williams was a healthy scratch again today. Has anyone heard anything out of the coaches about this situation? Just wondering why Duke hasn't gotten back onto the field after a couple of solid outings this year? I thought with the way he played that he had worked himself onto the starting offense. Could they be focusing more on special teams play and Duke is just on the short end of the stick? Edited November 17, 2019 by Inigo Montoya 1 1
HurlyBurly51 Posted November 17, 2019 Posted November 17, 2019 Duke, Foster won't be on this team next year 1
HurlyBurly51 Posted November 17, 2019 Posted November 17, 2019 Pretty obvious, you don't get any snaps and/or made inactive every week, with this group beyond Brown/Beasley, the writing is on the wall

I did think it stupid to sit McKenzie when they did, but it seems to me there is room for both. They both help the offense in unique ways. 1
BuffaloBillies Posted November 17, 2019 Posted November 17, 2019 I would like to see duke active over kroft. 9 2
MDH Posted November 17, 2019 Posted November 17, 2019 Don’t you have to have done something before you can be missing? 1
Phil The Thrill Posted November 17, 2019 Posted November 17, 2019 They elected to keep either Ty Kroft or Seniorise Perry active, and not Duke. It’s too bad because Kroft hasn’t done much and special teams have been worse since the Perry signing. The Bills could have used Duke on those endzone fades 5
CaptnCoke11 Posted November 17, 2019 Posted November 17, 2019 It’s a good thing we go heavy on special teams.. They really played well today. 12 2

He had a mistake today but he’s had some Dawg plays as a Gunner Duke plays teams too, but he doesn’t have the speed to make those Gunner plays 1
LABILLBACKER Posted November 17, 2019 Posted November 17, 2019 I don't get it? He's caught what's been thrown to him. He can be a big physical threat for redzone 50-50 balls. Kroft and Sweeney have done nothing all year. Kinda dumb 2 straight games as a healthy inactive? 2 1

They have a bigger investment in Kroft. Bigger investment = you get more chances

I don’t get the Duke Williams inactive either. He comes in his first game and plays like 60% (maybe even more) of the snaps. Then disappears because he becomes inactive. Weird situation in my opinion. 1
Don Otreply Posted November 17, 2019 Posted November 17, 2019 Yeah. Been wondering why Williams number hasn’t been called lately, he catches what’s thrown to him, so it must be some other set of circumstances. I still think consistent quality utilization of current talent could be better. Go Bills!!! 1
