LabattBlue Posted April 12, 2005 Posted April 12, 2005 Baas and Spencer both gone , Bills take Castillo.
BillsGuyInMalta Posted April 12, 2005 Posted April 12, 2005 Castillo is probably the only DT I would want to see the Bills take in the 2nd. I'm amazed so many mocks have him lasting to our pick...I watched Castillo play in person and that kid is a monster. I'm not a big fan of drafting DT with our 2nd rounder, but if it ended up being Castillo, I'll be smiling after his name is read at the podium.
clumping platelets Posted April 12, 2005 Posted April 12, 2005 Castillo would be an awesome pick in rd 2

Castillo has DT size and strength with DE speed. He's strong against the run, and I'm guessing with some good coaching could become a strong pass rusher from the interior of the line. The Bills might even be tempted to play him some at LDE.

Wonder if that switch of 2nd rounders is a strong possibility?
Mark VI Posted April 12, 2005 Posted April 12, 2005 Castillo is ranked as a late 1st rounder by Ourlads. Hawthorne an early to mid 2nd rounder. Patterson a mid 2nd to early 3rd. I like all 3 and would be thrilled to have ANY of them on our roster, if DT is our selection.
TigerJ Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 Yeah, Castillo has been one of the risers on value boards based on his strong combine. The odds that he'll be available at #55 have dropped considerably over the last 6 weeks.
