Big Turk Posted November 17, 2019 Posted November 17, 2019 (edited) He was showing it last year in Baltimore before Flacco got benched but this year he is taking it to a whole new level....then the offense became run Lamar Jackson and throw only when needed and he kind of faded. Currently sitting at 56 catches for 818 and the longest active streak in the NFL of 50+ yard receiving games. On pace for 90 catches and 1309 yards...by any measures those are #1 WR numbers... This honestly might be the first time Brown has been viewed by a team as the first receiving option and he has been more than up to the task. Edited November 17, 2019 by matter2003 7 2 1
Alphadawg7 Posted November 17, 2019 Posted November 17, 2019 (edited) Agree, he’s been very reliable and Josh has good rapport with him (well at least on throws under 30 yards lol) Edited November 17, 2019 by Alphadawg7
Doc Posted November 17, 2019 Posted November 17, 2019 "Can be"? He already is and has been. He's on-pace for over 1,300 yards. 5 1
Seasons1992 Posted November 17, 2019 Posted November 17, 2019 He's #1 on this team. Once they draft a lanky tall guy who loves football and can catch, cakewalk *******. @teef 1 1
Phil The Thrill Posted November 17, 2019 Posted November 17, 2019 Yes and yes. I think if he had another target on the outside it would help give him better looks
Wayne Cubed Posted November 17, 2019 Posted November 17, 2019 I think he can be a 1a, still think they need a 1b. 1
Ethan in Cleveland Posted November 17, 2019 Posted November 17, 2019 He's an excellent WR and has been Beane's best FA signing (Hyde and Poyer were McD and Whaley). It will be a very interesting offseason and draft. Brown has been good enough to pass on a WR early. Best case scenario a big WR falls like DK and they get an edge in first round and a guy with size in the second or third.
Real McClappy Posted November 17, 2019 Posted November 17, 2019 Had to borrow this from the GDT! Get em Smoke! 1

Scott7975 Posted November 17, 2019 Posted November 17, 2019 What I like best about today is he made sure the DB didn't get the INTs that Zay would have just watched happen. 5

Freddie's Dead Posted November 17, 2019 Posted November 17, 2019 John Brown is my #1 receiver, I don't care how tall he is. Dude has great hands, gets open, balls his ass off. 3
colin Posted November 17, 2019 Posted November 17, 2019 He was awesome, but at times, especially late, Josh was straight forcing the ball to him. He's all we got it seems 1
eball Posted November 17, 2019 Posted November 17, 2019 Brown is doing everything a #1 does. But we will continue to have fans insisting he’s not good enough. 1
LEBills Posted November 17, 2019 Posted November 17, 2019 Smoke is very good. If we get a competent #2 WR, he will be even better too. 1
Scott7975 Posted November 17, 2019 Posted November 17, 2019 He is currently 3rd in receiving thus far this week.
NewEra Posted November 17, 2019 Posted November 17, 2019 Beane nailed it with this signing. ❤️Smoke 1
Brianmoorman4jesus Posted November 17, 2019 Posted November 17, 2019 I think this guy is probably our best WR in about 15 years. As long as the Qb gets the ball to him, he’s very good. Beasley is very good too. WRs are not the issue for a change. 1 1
Bookie Man Posted November 17, 2019 Posted November 17, 2019 A fantasy football gem, he has been. Had him and Allen going. Combined 70 points! A great pickup for Buffalo! ...(and me ?) 1

I liked the signing at the time since he seems the exact speedster WR Josh Allen should have all over the field. Was hoping Robert Foster would get more action.
