Banged up bills...never heard of this one

Guy has a twitter account and a link to WebMD. I appreciate his effort, but in the age of society where everyone has to be first/right, I find these accounts highly speculative and annoying. May be an unpopular opinion on here, but just my take. Just be patient and wait for the official diagnosis by the team and its doctors. Can’t change what it is any way.

Doubt it is his X-ray unless he got it from Adam Schefter

Definitely stock. HIPAA

I thought so.

People may assume otherwise if they don't click the link.

I think it’s pretty much understood that it’s speculative given that he doesn’t work for the team but he has good insight about injuries. He’s a doctor who they bring on the Locked on Bills podcast weekly.

Can't wait to see Ford left on an island against Von and watch him single handily take over the game.  They better give him some help.

Did you pee in your pants a little bit as you posted this?

He is sort of limited by the information at his disposal. He can't really predict what the injuries are. But he is great for understanding treatments and recovery timelines.

Fair enough.

This video hasn't circulated much, which gives a glimmer of hope that it may not be as severe as seen on the broadcast.

Cool. Has about as much information to go off as the rest of us John Q. Fans. Not like he has any access to medical records. He’s going off sight. The only thing he has over the rest of us is a medical degree, but even without one, I think we all know enough to say it looked like a pretty significant lower leg injury (ankle or leg break or dislocation). Not sure I needed him to tell me that.

Again, I said it may be an unpopular opinion on here and I get why people find it interesting. I just don’t.

Maybe just a high ankle sprain?

He is a DPT not an MD

Still a doctor, and his expertise is super relevant to sports injuries.

It is super disturbing how people in this country have become so willing to dismiss expert opinion as either having no basis or being not relevant.

My wife is a DPT, she is smart, I get it, but she doesn't have people calling her doctor.

I just wanted to make the correction, as some people consider doctors MDs only

Lighten up, Francis. It’s called an opinion. I’m sorry you find it disturbing that I trust the official diagnosis of team doctors over some dude with a twitter account who has access to no more information than you or I.

Yeah, that is fair. I practice law in the healthcare field; I am always fascinated by the non-MDs that have doctorates and insist on being called doctors.  On the one hand, they deserve it. On the other hand, being a "doctor" in the medical filed has a certain connotation. That aside, I think you can agree that his experience is relevant (and helpful) to the topic area.

Yes. You are entitled to that opinion. And, it is super disturbing that those are opinions that people hold.

The guy who runs Banged up Bills (name escapes me) is on the Locked on bills Podcast with Joe Merino every Friday I believe, I have heard him speak. He is alright, a good level of orthopedic knowledge but I wouldn't consider him an expert/gospel on the same level as an MD.
