None of this makes sense to me... I’m fine with him wanting a shot, and it makes sense for teams to see if he’s got anything that could be helpful in their pursuit of victories.... but why is the NFL setting it up?

I'm guessing that it may be part of the settlement of the grievance/ lawsuit that was filed.  The fact that the NFL is not openly discussing what prompted this, leads me to believe this.

I hate the NFL the way it is now.  It used to be something I enjoyed so much.

I hate the coverage

I hate Kaepernick

I hate Goodell

I hate how much it costs to go to a game and subsequently how much these players make

I hate that situations like Kaep turn otherwise good people on each other over it

I hate that an NFL team hoodie is $99

I hate how dangerous the game is

I hate how the game is officiated

I hate that I want the Bills to win a super bowl so bad I can't stop watching

I get all the Bills games, so I’m good.

I ignore Kaepernick

I ignore Goodell

I only go to as many games as I feel comfortable shelling out for, it’s not directly my money the players get, and I don’t begrudge rich

I ignore a LOT, apparently, but I also forgive differences of opinion

I don’t have a team hoodie, but my wife buys me stuff, no idea what it costs (Oops! I’m wearing one of unknown cost! Weird there!)

I know the game has always been dangerous, but less so since the QB’s now wear skirts

I know the refs have always sucked, we just have more camera angles to prove it

I love that the Bills will win a Super Bowl soon, for me and you!

I kid (mostly), but that was fun!  ?

My wife has a new thing, a positive twist exercise. I don’t “have to” take my mother to the store or the doctor, etc. I “get to” take my 92 year old mother. As my son said after our last dog died, “I wish I had played with her more”. So much in life is about attitude. I am a work in progress.

He would fit in real well with the Patriots

Yes, the Patriots who had to fight the millions of ignorants over 150 years ago... but back then the ignorants used the Confederate flag to hide behind instead of hijacking the Stars and Stripes like they do today.

Honestly, I would hope a Bills representative is going to be attending the workout. No stone left unturned, due diligence. I doubt anything comes of it.

I hate the coverage  You have to appeal to a variety of audiences.  But yes, it's become campy

I hate Kaepernick I mean, the guys been blacklisted for years.  There's far worse players still in the league

I hate Goodell  Man's job is to CEO a business.  It's a very profitable business and aside from player discipline, has done more good than bad

I hate how much it costs to go to a game and subsequently how much these players make Then don't go?  Also, they are the product you pay to see, they should get their cut

I hate that situations like Kaep turn otherwise good people on each other over it  Are you aware of America's political climate?  Half the country hates the other half

I hate that an NFL team hoodie is $99  Go to Wal-Mart

I hate how dangerous the game is It's a game where grown man tackle each other.  What were you expecting when you first started watching?  It's only gotten safer

I hate how the game is officiated  You try it.  Plays happen over the course of seconds and you need to watch a variety of things at once.  I just wish they've fix mistakes more

I hate that I want the Bills to win a super bowl so bad I can't stop watching Many of our lives would be a lot less stressful if this were the case

he turned down a 50% paycut which he would have had to accept before the Broncos would trade for him.

Sounds about right for declining productivity and after having helmed 1-10 and 2-6 squads in the 2 years prior?

Hasn’t he been the one who’s turned down offers during the same time he’s been out of the league?

At the time of the Kap debacle, he was easily the Stsrting QB equivalent on a dozen teams.

Does he still have the talent to be a Backup on crap teams like the Bungles, Jets, Broncos, Skins, Bears, etc after 3 years of rust?

Possibly.

It strikes me as the type of PR formulated on Park Ave at 11pm with three fingers of scotch.

Cripes, comment after comment asking why the NFL is doing this just points out how ill informed people are.  They're doing it because they were told to.  Read a newspaper ferchrissakes.

Wish there were sub-forums for things like this.  Posters are told that if it belongs in sub-forum do not post in main forum even if somewhat related to main forum.  Used to work this way on gaming forum so  these discussions stayed segmented.  Software would scan for keywords and warn user that it potentially belongs elsewhere and if you ignore warning and it is then appropriate punishment would be applied.

Or something agreed to by league as part of closed settlement.

Anyone can create a club for whatever they like.  It's an under-used feature of the board.

In this case though, the shots were initially a reaction to a post and it kinda snowballed from there.

The software scan sounds neat but maybe not the kind of feature included in the package we have.

I bet by Saturday all 32 teams will send at least one person. The local scout in Atlanta. Tick the boxes.

Yup. Honestly it’s smart to see who he is right now.  Not so much to sign him, but to scout him.  He could wind up somewhere and get in a game.  Does anyone think BB wouldn’t want to know who’s lining up against him?  Do your due diligence.

So the 2 teams with the best record in the NFL think his tires are worth kicking, but not us.  OK.

I wouldn’t put tires as something that needs to be kicked when it comes to Kap
