I wonder if the announcers will talk about his beard again. Always insightful and interesting.

Do you know he wears his wedding ring?  Once, years ago when dinosaurs roamed the earth and kids walked to school through the snow uphill both ways, he attended Harvard.

In a way Fitz would be the perfect guy to be here as a mentor for Allen.

Except for the Fitzmagic curse though. Guy always finds his way into the starting role on every team he has been on.

Ryan Fitzpatrick has career earnings of close to $60M......think about that for a moment....

Honestly, that sounds underpaid to me. Would have thought it was around $90M. Figured he made around $60M just on his Bills and Jets contracts.

Then, if your team is smart, they take DeShaun Watson, so it still works.  What doesn''t work is your team trading out of the #10 slot when there are two bonafide top QBs are available and they need a franchise QB in order to take a DB because they let their top DB walk away in free agency.

Wow, this hindsight stuff makes it all look so easy. Turns out we all knew after it happened that those two QBs were bonafide!

McDermott has gone public saying he simply hadn't had time to evaluate the QBs thoroughly enough what with putting in place the structure of his new system and administration. It's a shame we didn't have a GM he trusted at that time, but we didn't. And none of that will be a problem if we turn out to be consistently competitive over the next few years, which could easily happen.

And they likely would have loved to keep that DB, but he would've cost a ton right in the middle of a rebuild where they were in cap jail due to bad decisions by the previous administration.
