The Dems are currently going through this impeachment inquiry about Ukraine. This Cohen fiasco happened last year. If what you’re saying Is true, why didn’t they just or don’t they just impeach on this obvious campaign finance crime (you’re words not mine) Dems just letting criminal justice system do its job there. Trump trying to steal the next election required immediate attention though.

My question is then why don’t the Dems impeach based on the crimes Tibs is saying Trump committed? 1
Buffalo_Gal Posted December 4, 2019 Posted December 4, 2019 Yuppers... and people pay money to listen to this in class. No wonder reason and debate has gone the way of the dodo bird among our "betters". 2

Cohen is in jail for not paying his taxes. He's not in jail for anything to do with the 2016 election. You're pushing false news because you're too programmed to read court filings for yourself and are still relying on proven liars and manipulators to interpret them for you. 2

Tiberius Posted December 4, 2019 Posted December 4, 2019 At least Mitt isn't carrying Putins water It now seems that not all Senate Republicans are intent on mimicking Kennedy’s example. Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah) commented to reporters: “I saw no evidence from our intelligence community nor from our representatives today from the Department of State that there is any evidence of any kind that suggests Ukraine interfered in our elections. We have ample evidence that Russia interfered.” He dismissed Kennedy’s reliance on news reports that the senator from Louisiana falsely claimed implicated Ukraine. "We have to adhere to the facts that’s presented to us by our intelligence community. And I know some people will look at newspaper accounts and say, ‘Gee, this is what I read in the newspaper,’ Romney said. “But not every article is exactly accurate, and sometimes your articles are being promoted by an intelligence source that is trying to push a narrative that is not in our interest.” https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2019/12/04/senate-republicans-wont-remove-trump-they-might-not-spin-so-hard-him/

Buffalo_Gal Posted December 4, 2019 Posted December 4, 2019 Michael Gerhardt (University of NC Law Professor) President is guilty of bribery, obstruction of justice, obstruction of congress. Another "impartial witness!!" Whoohooo!! Did Nadler put out a call for nutty, smug, partisan hacks? If so, he got some "good" ones. 2

At best it’s unclear. There is precedent for impeachment of district judges for conduct before he was in office. If Dems thought they had him on that, we’d have seen this charade last year. Point is they don’t, and Tibs still can’t point to a single “crime” committed by this president. No one can. 1
