Don't take the trolling seriously - the more you react, the more fun they have. They're only saying that stuff to get you worked up.

I saw a great sign the other day that said "If you want to thank a veteran, be the kind of American worth protecting."

@Tiberius will never understand that because as a leftist, he hates the military. His favorite American soldier is a dead American. He laughed at the Benghazi casualities, and he'll always laugh when American soldiers are killed in combat.

Don't worry, though. They're losing horribly right now, which is why he posts the childish schitt he posts.

Adam Schiff Throws Up His Impeachment Hail Mary

7091858C-D537-4393-B1AD-C05194ECB03C.thumb.jpeg.5bce0d7cce8b734b89a2f478dbb82d62.jpeg

We’ve entered the fourth quarter and the Democrats are down seven, having failed to capitalize off their public impeachment hearings and seeing support slipping. It’s desperation time and Adam Schiff, always the sucker when it comes to misinformation, is throwing his Hail Mary.

The background on this is that a man named Lev Parnas is currently under federal indictment by the SDNY for a variety of crimes, none of which actually relate to Donald Trump. Naturally, that means the guy facing decades behind bars is going to now claim he’s got damaging information on Trump and other Republicans. It’s the Michael Cohen strategy and it’s apparently catnip for House Democrats.

Parnas’ first shot in the dark was a farcical claim peddled to CNN that Devin Nunes secretly traveled abroad to Ukraine in order to get dirt on Joe Biden.

We are now three days past that report and not a single piece of corroborating evidence to support it has emerged. All indications are that the SDNY didn’t buy his nonsense, which is why Parnas wanted to talk to Congress instead.

Surprise, per ABC News, Adam Schiff obliged.

The House Intelligence Committee is in possession of audio and video recordings and photographs provided to the committee by Lev Parnas, an associate of President Donald Trump’s personal attorney, Rudy Giuliani, who reportedly played a key role in assisting him in his efforts to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden and Ukraine, multiple sources familiar with the matter tell ABC News.

The material submitted to the committee includes audio, video and photos that include Giuliani and Trump. It was unclear what the content depicts and the committees only began accessing the material last week.

“We have subpoenaed Mr. Parnas and Mr. [Igor] Fruman for their records. We would like them to fully comply with those subpoenas,” House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff told CNN Sunday, with a committee spokesperson adding they would not elaborate beyond the chairman’s comments.

I like the touch of subpoenaing a man who has already pledged to work with the committee voluntarily. Heck, Parnas has been practically begging for their attention. But Schiff wants to make it appear like he’s resisting investigative efforts in order to bolster the idea that something is being hidden.

The funny part is the side projecting the republicans/conservatives as a cult are the ones who act as one.

You know you're in a cult when you can't question the group orthodoxy without risking excommunication.

Say "orange man might not be so bad" in left-wing circles and see how long you're welcome there.

Or "Orange Man Bad...but you know, there's no real evidence for extortion here."

I can get behind censure, on the basis that Trump is truly a dumbass, and as a justification and foundation for greater oversight.

They have already committed to impeaching him since he was elected, and the TDS-sufferers will not accept a mere censure. A censure would be a compromise that will appease the Dems not completely insane, but it would kill them with the TDS crowd.

this is like conservative god-fearing people in my life saying "civil partnership" was fine for them instead of gay marriage

for which i told them, civil p is not even remotely in their plans for contentment...

All the more reason I can get behind it: to make the base's pointy little heads explode.

Bipartisan censure on the above basis would be oodles more exciting and better for the country than impeachment.
