nedboy7 Posted November 10, 2019 Posted November 10, 2019 Isn't this when someone says we are 6-3 and tells us we can't analyze this insanity of not giving the ball to motor? 1
atlbillsfan1975 Posted November 10, 2019 Posted November 10, 2019 Daboll is a great play caller, everything is fine. What a joke. Daboll it appears has the same mindset of some people here, don’t call plays that work often, use them sparingly to surprise teams. Singletary is a beast, he should get 20 -25 touches a game with running or receiving.

Daboll needs to go If our QB is going to miss a wide open WR for a game changing, easy TD, it doesn't matter who our OC is. We're going to have problems winning games anyway.
Bangarang Posted November 11, 2019 Posted November 11, 2019 (edited) I’m sure it’s already been mentioned but 8 touches against the 30th ranked run defense is pathetic. How does McD not correct that during the game? Edited November 11, 2019 by Bangarang

It's also about establishing rhythm and keeping the defense off balance. When you are successful at running the ball, it causes linebackers to hesitate on play-action. It pulls safeties closer to the line of scrimmage and opens up deep throws. It slows down the pass rush. The Bills offense is one-dimensional, and much of it is Daboll's fault. We are unwilling to stick with the run game, and unable to hit the deep pass. Which makes defending everything else much easier for our opponents. All good points. Rhythm is the last thing our offense has. It's like a car badly in need of a tuneup Regarding the deep pass, we can go deep except we don't have receivers capable of catching balls consistently ten or more yards over their heads or otherwise nowhere near them. Best Williams Available Posted November 11, 2019 Posted November 11, 2019 Daboll’s rushing plays lack creativity in design, as if he is at Alabama and can just call any ol’ run and overpower the other team on plain talent alone.
DaBillsFanSince1973 Posted November 11, 2019 Posted November 11, 2019 Daboll is holding this offense back. I'm really starting to lose complete confidence in him as the offensive coordinator of the Buffalo bills.

But it's more like a car that severely needs a tune up. Yes, Singletary needs to be used more, along with screen passes, play action, passes to backs, etc. etc. etc. Kind of like a 16 year old that got a mustang as old as he is for a first car.
keepthefaith Posted November 11, 2019 Posted November 11, 2019 (edited) I'd like to see a stat that shows for all NFL teams for each game the frequency of 2 or more negative passing plays in a row. Define a negative passing play as one which results in: an incomplete pass, a sack, an interception, a penalty or a QB scramble for 2 yards or less. When your passing game generates consecutive bad plays often, drives often end. The Bills seem (don't have numbers to back this up) to have a lot of drives with consecutive bad plays in the passing game. Edited November 11, 2019 by keepthefaith

So if Daboll needs to go should McClappy get yet ANOTHER hire at OC? should I also Add WRs open all over QB couldn’t hit them consistently. But is Firing Daboll gets me closer to Firing McD I am all for it Folks need a scapegoat b/c their blind faith in Josh Allen will not allow them to target him as the true source of our problems on offense. Daboll can't force Josh into making the right reads or throwing the ball more accurately or with timing and anticipation. This fanbase is like a diner who goes to a restaurant with horrible food and terrible service, and then concludes the real problem is the choice of wallpaper in the main dining room is just all wrong, making it impossible to enjoy a good meal there.

The Browns were holding too and weren't called once. Getting put 10 yards behind the chains on 4 possessions makes things difficult. The refs need to stop influencing the games with their subjective holding calls that could be called on almost any play. The Browns don't have the human penalty flag, we do, his name is Lee Smith.
ksm27 Posted November 11, 2019 Posted November 11, 2019 I feel like we should be a team that runs the ball on the expected running downs and then even on some downs where you would expect a pass. Instead, we often pass the ball on traditional “running downs” and always pass the ball on traditional “passing downs” - given the statistics, I think we’ve got it backwards.
T master Posted November 11, 2019 Posted November 11, 2019 Thats pretty S**TTY 8 carries for the entire game Gore had like 4 carries WTF !! If McD doesn't know WTH is wrong with his offense not scoring any points he might want to start here to notice that the guy can't score if they don't touch the ball !!
