Daboll's ahead of his time alright. No, Daboll's holding this team back. He's no good. In games he keeps doing what doesn't work and refuses to continue doing what does. He just moves on to something else and does his best to avoid hot players. I've never seen anything like it. Gore had a tough day vs Skins. He normally can find a yard or two.

On the other hand Daboll kind of weirded me out a little bit in his most recent presser. "Each game declares itself" what does that mean exactly? That’s how they get you hooked! They make you wonder, and then you have to tune in to see how it goes! I’m reading the new Grisham book, and he’s once again doing the same thing to me! (Albeit with a better grasp of the English language, it seems.)

Daboll is a bit socially awkward and defensive behind the podium....you can tell that he would rather be anywhere else. Maybe it is just the way he looks like he is counting all the exits. Not sure a lot of the media guys in B-lo help themselves that much as all the loaded questions clearly make him very guarded with his responses, if they threw him a bone now and then maybe he would relax a bit and open up. "That was a really effective screen can you take us through that and explain why it worked so well?", "What did you see that made you feel that would work?", or "Can you walk us through a typical week of prep for your next opponent?". Not really sure what he was saying there, maybe just that each week the next opponent dictates their game plan and personnel decisions?

Daboll turned a 1st and goal situation into a 42 yard field goal attempt with his BS play calling. The three straight 1- yard attempts that he ran straight up the middle at the goal line only to get stoned every time - you cool with that? This offense is not good enough for Daboll to be "planning ahead" for future games. If Singletary doesn't get 20+ touches every game the rest of the season he should get fired. I'll take a stab at defending Daboll for those goal line calls and pry get roasted. If you're going to do a play action pass on the opposing two yard line and totally fool the defense first down is the way to do it. Have to trust Josh to throw it away there. If he did you have 2nd and goal from the two where you run the ball. The 2nd play call (the Jet sweep) has worked multiple times. The third play was basically a must pass situation and it was a bad snap. Now that we all complained about Daboll throwing on 1st and goal from the two they run the ball three times on 1st and goal from the one. I was fine with all three of those calls as the odds of the Redskins stuffing Gore three times are small. I'll take my chances in the same situation again as our o-line has to win the line of scrimmage at least once.
