He's the best thing to bring order to this club in years. He has the team at 6-2 for the first time in years, So ridiculous. 3 4 1

GunnerBill Posted November 5, 2019 Posted November 5, 2019 Reflections on last night: - Daniel Jones can make some plays until right in the moment when you need him to. Right in the moment when everyone in the stadium knows you need him to. This remains my question mark against him. He is kind of the anti-Josh Allen in that respect. - Dak Prescott remains underrated. He doesn't have the biggest arm, he isn't the most precise passer, but his leadership qualities and his understanding of the offense and his ability to read defences at the line and get the Cowboys into the right play is very impressive. - Saquon Barkley is supremely talented but at the moment he has got himself a little into the mode where he tries to do too much. Not every run has to be a homerun. Watching him vs Zeke last night was telling. When all there is in a play is 4 yards Zeke takes those 4 yards. Barkley is trying to bounce in the backfield looking for a 50 yarder and getting tackled in the backfield. - The Giants secondary might want to cover somebody. Anybody. - No team in the NFL is an A or B talent wise at so many key spots as the Cowboys: QB - B; RB - A; OL - 3x A (LT, C, RG) and 1x B (RT); #1WR - B; DE - A; DT - B; LBs - 1x A and 2x B; #1CB - B. Yes, aside from Byron Jones there remain issues on the back end of the defense and yes their offense is still at times a little predictable but the collection of talent is for real. The coaching however is less impressive. Stupid indiscipline penalties, STs breakdowns.... too many correctable things that are going uncorrected. If Jason Garrett fails to win 10 games with this roster he has to get fired. 2
