Ridgewaycynic2013 Posted November 4, 2019 Posted November 4, 2019 Is he repping football cleats? We better be stylin’ in OBJ’s crib. Word. 3
Lurker Posted November 4, 2019 Posted November 4, 2019 A little light in the pants (300 lbs) and a one-strike guy, but glad they're at least looking... https://www.silverandblackpride.com/2019/8/25/20832172/raiders-sign-veteran-former-chargers-dt-corey-liuget
machine gun kelly Posted November 4, 2019 Posted November 4, 2019 Lurker, good point on applauding Beane for looking accepting we have sucked for three weeks up the middle defending the run.
Big Turk Posted November 4, 2019 Posted November 4, 2019 (edited) 2018 scouting report---doesn't seem like he would be a run stuffer...almost like the role they wanted Oliver to play. Although on some of the runs they are getting gashed on its because they get the Bills moving laterally so maybe they think he could help shoot through some of those: He wins primarily against the lateral run game. His snap quickness helps him excel as a penetrator. Liuget’s processing allow him to shoot through the gap to replace pullers and undercut reach blocks. As a pass-rusher, his hand usage and quickness stand out. He sets up blockers with inside-out fakes, clubs and rips to penetrate and move the QB off his spot. The 27-year-old possesses a nonstop motor and chases the ball through the whistle all over the field. Edited November 4, 2019 by matter2003

Boatdrinks Posted November 5, 2019 Posted November 5, 2019 Worth a look. They have to fix this down the stretch run. Have to try to stay ahead in the playoff race. 1
wppete Posted November 5, 2019 Posted November 5, 2019 We are really missing Harrison Phillips! 6 2 1

Bronxbomber21 Posted November 5, 2019 Posted November 5, 2019 I rewatched the game and it doesnt look like Oilver was the problem it looked like Star was 1 1
atlbillsfan1975 Posted November 5, 2019 Posted November 5, 2019 Glad to see the FO and coaches are always looking to get better. I read Liuget’s wiki bio and it made me really wish Harrison hadn’t gotten hurt.

Only comment I will make regarding this thought: You would think that if we are looking at this right now, I would hope during the trade deadline we sniffed around the DT position. It just seems like a move could have been made, much easier than WR, edge etc. without giving up a ton. Granted we have no idea what the prices were or what our thoughts were at that time, but I sure as hell hope we called around and kicked some tires... 46 minutes ago, Gugny said: I'm not sure who you are ... but thanks, Bill. I was hoping they were talking with the Falcons about Grady Jarrett 1 3
