BrycePaup4ever Posted November 3, 2019 Posted November 3, 2019 (edited) I remember 12 years we won 17-16 thanks to Joe Gibbs having a brain cramp with his timeouts at the end of the game. I remember Sean laying out Moorman in the Pro Bowl. Was it dirty?Taylor seemed like an awesome player and today I will remember him. The fact he was killed by thugs in his own home is among the scariest ways to die. Edited November 3, 2019 by BrycePaup4ever 3

Chill Posted November 3, 2019 Posted November 3, 2019 (edited) Senseless killing. I can’t believe it’s been 12 years. Appreciate life, it can all be over in one blink. Edited November 3, 2019 by Chill 1
Rocket94 Posted November 3, 2019 Posted November 3, 2019 I remember when this happened. It is a darn shame. Taylor was part of the new breed of safeties entering the league. Big, fast mean and hard hitting. 2
Lafromboise Posted November 3, 2019 Posted November 3, 2019 Sean could have ended his game as one of the top 3 dbs ever to play. Rip. No one will come out of the draft with his measurables and range in a long time. Probably ever. 3

I thought lindell made the unofficial field goals right before the time outs were called?

And Mr Bad-Ass is going to take out a punter? Not impressed. Exactly. Sick dude, taking out a punter at the head when he’s running a trick play in the exhibition All Star game. I must have missed the last time someone got celebrated in the NBA All Star game for taking out Lebron’s knees when he’s trying to do a 420 dunk. The fact that Sean Taylor is celebrated for that hit has always been super odd to me. You know even Moorman was even pissed about it. Why else run over and tell him good hit?
Mark80 Posted November 3, 2019 Posted November 3, 2019 Straight up baller. As a U fan, it was easy to love everything about his game and him off the field as well. Such a shame. 1

Absolutely drilled both. I was at that game and my fondest memory was after Lindell hit those two filed goals, I was watching Greg Williams, the then defensive coordinator of the redskins, standing on the sidelines, with nobody within 25 yards of him, pouting like a ten year old, having just given up the game winning drive, with a crucial pass from Trent Edwards to Josh Reed. Greg Williams is the single individual I despise the most in the NFL, and I loved watching him pouting, alone. 2 1 1

That had to be a tough week for the Skins though..it would be like Hyde or White dying. There is a brotherhood on the field.

The form was text book. Moorman did not even think it was dirty. Moorman also congratulated Taylor on the hit. There was not even a flag thrown. If you are going to run a trick play in an all star game, you risk having your punter get hit. That is what happened. https://youtu.be/SC7Wx3zCiQo Edited November 4, 2019 by Peter 1

RIP Sean Taylor. The best safety I have ever seen with my eyes Aaron Williams and Taylor both played with what you would call reckless abandon But Sean Taylor was bigger , stronger and faster than 90% of the league. Something Williams couldn't say All in all Sean Taylor was a phenom who saw the game at an extraordinary level and I would put him in the HoF regardless of stats.. Williams played with the the same style just a lot smaller and slower than Taylor, which caught up to him Williams was a heck of a football player and I hope he has closure in the fact that HE DID MAKE IT. He was a football players player and I respect him enormously Edited November 4, 2019 by Buffalo716 1
