billsfan_34 Posted November 3, 2019 Posted November 3, 2019 I know there are other JA threads however this may get lost in the shuffle. What does everyone want to see out of Allen tomorrow? Hit the long ball and lead his receivers is at the top of my list. Second is taking care of the football- 16 fumbles in 18 games.
123719bwiqrb Posted November 3, 2019 Posted November 3, 2019 The only answer is to play like a franchise QB. We must seek acceptance from the national media. Wins are meaningless. I kid. Just win the damn game. 10 1
RiotAct Posted November 3, 2019 Posted November 3, 2019 Win, and continue to make good decisions. 2 1
Johnny Hammersticks Posted November 3, 2019 Posted November 3, 2019 I’d take the question further and ask what must the offense do tomorrow. I’d love to see them run the ball (with RBs) more. I’d like to see Allen hit on one or two nice long passes. Designed QB runs are overrated. Once or maybe twice per game is sufficient. 5 1
reddogblitz Posted November 3, 2019 Posted November 3, 2019 He does enough for us to win the game. 2 1
TwistofFate Posted November 3, 2019 Posted November 3, 2019 I'd like to see 300+ passing with a deep completion or two and no turnovers. I'd like to see him beat the blitz they are sure to bring with his arm, to move defenders out of the box. 1 1

Like the thought process- always a fan of pounding the rock
Bronxbomber21 Posted November 3, 2019 Posted November 3, 2019 I would like to see the Allen from week 17 last season vs the phins 1
Happy Posted November 3, 2019 Posted November 3, 2019 Take care of the ball. Don't give them points off turnovers or put the defense in a bad position. 1 2
LABILLBACKER Posted November 3, 2019 Posted November 3, 2019 Win by 14+. Hit on at least 1 long ball (finally). Be stout defensively on the run. No wind. 1

US Egg Posted November 3, 2019 Posted November 3, 2019 (edited) Allen is on his rookie contract so that is how long the process has to show they decided correctly. Edited November 3, 2019 by I am the egg man
SinceThe70s Posted November 3, 2019 Posted November 3, 2019 Must do? Whatever it takes to win. In the context of a single game that's all that ever matters. In the context of his career, a strong downfield passing performance - as part of a win. Josh needs to show me that he can do that regularly. So maybe 299 yards in the air - just enough to keep the stat freaks panties in a bunch.
uticaclub Posted November 3, 2019 Posted November 3, 2019 Look like a QB that can take over a game & win

Dunbar, Collins, and Norman are all playing well. I think it’s very unlikely we pass for 300 yards.

But maybe that's just me. 4
Augie Posted November 3, 2019 Posted November 3, 2019 Take care of the ball, win the game. IF he gets 300 yards....he shuts some people up, and that’s nice. Just WIN! 2

I think we will see a heavy dose of Singletary tomorrow. They are going to crowd the line and stop the run. We will either need Singletary to break some big runs to set up some nice play action or Allen will have to bring his A+ game. After last week Im not really looking forward to AP running against us.
