NewEra Posted October 28, 2019 Posted October 28, 2019 Oh god. Please don’t give up anything more than a 5th for this guy. 8
SlimShady'sSpaceForce Posted October 28, 2019 Posted October 28, 2019 If it's not Schefter I'll move this to unsubstantiated rumors
DasNootz Posted October 28, 2019 Posted October 28, 2019 I really don't see RB as a need worth giving up any future picks for with this roster - compared to holes at Edge rusher, WR, OL etc. 1

wvbillsfan Posted October 28, 2019 Posted October 28, 2019 Why would we want another running back we don’t use? 5
Chicharito Posted October 28, 2019 Posted October 28, 2019 I say if he can be had for a 4th or lower so be it. But no crazy extension. Won’t hurt to have a bounce to the outside rb.
Bangarang Posted October 28, 2019 Posted October 28, 2019 I would complain a lot on the internet if this happened 3 8 1
TOboy Posted October 28, 2019 Posted October 28, 2019 It's not a NEED, but if it's for a mid round pick, we have the cap space, why not? I love Gore, but it's not like he's the answer. A Singletary/Gordon backfield would be more than solid moving forward. I'd like to think we'd come to terms on a reasonable extension before pulling the trigger though.

Canadian Bills Fan Posted October 28, 2019 Posted October 28, 2019 Can we have Mike Williams instead?
JoPar_v2 Posted October 28, 2019 Posted October 28, 2019 I don’t see the fit here, unless: 1) they feel like severely restricting Gore’s carries (highly unlikely) or 2) they still have very little trust in Singletary and would rather have him watch more, play less (stupid)
YoloinOhio Posted October 28, 2019 Author Posted October 28, 2019 Chargers are at point of getting something rather than nothing so don’t be surprised if the return is lower than expected
whatdrought Posted October 28, 2019 Posted October 28, 2019 Talking heads have been playing at this idea for about a month now with no real consideration of why we would do this... I assume this is just a saturation effect.

jahnyc Posted October 28, 2019 Posted October 28, 2019 Wouldn't they get a third rounder as a compensatory pick if he leaves as a free agent after the season (I recognize that there may be other factors)? If this is the case, then the Chargers are going to want at least a third rounder in this year's draft.

Mango Posted October 28, 2019 Posted October 28, 2019 Am I the only one who would: 1. Be happy to have a real feature back on this offense to help JA and.... 2. Worried about giving up assets for a UFA next year and... 3. Wonder WTF was the point of releasing Shady, to just go ahead and trade assets, mid season, for his replacement. The FO is botching the RB position this year, almost as badly as they botched the QB room in 2018... 5
