Formerly Allan in MD Posted October 28, 2019 Posted October 28, 2019 When your linebackers and D backs are the only ones stopping the run, yes, you have a problem. It's a good thing we have cap space for next season.

At some point the offense needs to do there part. Just going off memory the only game in which the offense took control was the Giants game For a bit. Then they went into a protect the lead shell IIRC
BillsfanAZ Posted October 28, 2019 Posted October 28, 2019 Dont the Bills have a run stuffing DT on their practice squad now? He was release by another team in a surprise move. I think he was rated prettty high by PFF.
golfball323 Posted October 28, 2019 Posted October 28, 2019 Haven't seen the correct answer here yet... An offense that scores enough to put the opposing offense in a position that they need to throw to score...
billsfan89 Posted October 28, 2019 Posted October 28, 2019 They need to find a big run stuffing DT. That's the only thing that will prevent them from getting beat along the interior line consistently in the ground game. Oliver and Phillips are penetrators and not run stuffers. Star and Peko are not getting it done holding the middle against the run. The team needs to find a big run stuffer to take Peko's place. Not sure who is on the trade market but a run specialist DT shouldn't be that hard to find. It isn't a highly valued position and I am sure there is a out of contention team that could have a solid run stuffer that they would be willing to trade.
Nester Posted October 28, 2019 Posted October 28, 2019 I wonder how Oliver would do on Edge... Just frustratingly musing as i have no idea who would replace him in the middle. I see the impact Nick Bosa is making and i get Jelly.
