That might be all they can do this year.  Everyone would want and undefeated Super Bowl season but......................

reality.

Exactly.......its almost as if OP and the rest of these sad sacks couldn't wait for a loss so they could hop behind the keyboard to say. " I told you so, we had a bad game, pack your bags , the seasons over". We have the best record we have had in quite some time, but somehow people love to wallow in the misery of a loss.

Can’t do it with Josh as QB.  I feel like it is the EJ experiment all over.  Let’s go trade for a receiver and that will help.  Not.

trade for Teddy!

That's fine if people want to be that way but my deal is fans wanting huge victories every week.  The Bills are playing the 2019 season

and none of us are going to know how it ends.  I would love them to be better than the Patriots but the reality is they have more work to do.

So far I have enjoyed the season and am looking forward to some more wins.  Any b!tching ain't gonna make Josh throw for 350 yards.

LOL

I am interested in whether Beane can work a trade in or not.  I know he is looking, he's always looking.

It’s not all about defense, but I’m really not sure that’s the lesson I take watching this game.

Our D got gashed badly.  Blown out.

If you want to win against any decent team you have got to be able to stop the run up the middle on D

If you want to win against any decent team you have GOT to be able to get off the field any time you have them pinned 3rd and >10

The unfortunate thing is I think we all recognized the offense was going to have to bail out the defense today. Did anyone have faith that the offense could put up 30+ and keep us in it? Isn’t that the real problem?

See the complete game.

Allen: 16/34 for 169 & QBR 22...

TWENTY FREAKING TWO!

Both sides were terrible, the O led by Allen & Daboll.

31.  Points allowed by the D.  QBR never tells the whole story.  Let it go.

Look at what most folks are telling you in this thread.  They are happy with how things are.  I guess they will be happy about a wildcard playoff loss and that 10-7 record you mention, too.  That's exactly what we are on pace for.

You would think this board would want more, but apparently it doesn't!

I'll tell you what.  Get out the fairy dust and turn a few more Bills players into all pros.   Or better yet, get a fairy godmother and turn all the other teams into mice.

It takes talent and experience to win in this league.    Better talent and more experience almost always wins.   Now, of the two teams on the field today, which would you say had the better talent and greater experience?

I'll hang up and listen...

No it’s not.   It was a team loss, caused by getting beat up front in both sides of the ball. Offense should have played better, defense should have played better, coaches should have coached better.

The attempts to twist the sad team performance today into another Allen slam by you and others is really pathetic.  He could have played better today.  So could the other 40 some guys that were out there.

Don’t see how they are any different than what we thought...they can beat some bad teams and will almost always lose to good teams. Mediocre. Been the name of their game for 20 years.

And it’s not like we haven’t seen hot starts before.

Thats because coaching staff, players, front office staff and owners haven’t changed over the past 20 years

Unfortunately, I think that’s not the case. I think the defense has bailed the offense out in a lot of the games this year. Sometimes you have to outscore an opponent to win. Sometimes it’s just not your defenses’ day.

Our defense held down a couple teams this year. Held the Pats close. Held the Jets close after the offense had 4 TO’s. Had a big pick vs the Dolphins to change momentum. Bengals game etc etc.

When the Eagles scored on their second straight drive after half, we needed the offense to bail us out. They could not. Facts are facts. Good teams have an offense that can bail out a bad day by the defense and vice versa. The Bills are not that team.

See what the 49ers are doing against a quality opponent for how good teams operate.

Today was a day that was lost up front on both sides.  But because you are anti-Allen you twist it.  Absurd.  And again he could have played better.

We scored 13 points. Our offense failed to be anything other than a disappointment. Our defense had a bad day. There is a difference, because I’ve watched the rest of the games this year.

I haven't really been on the forum today, but made sure to come here now just to spectate the whiner "fans" who are happy we lost just so they can lord their pessimistic hot takes over us.  Happens after every loss following a bit of success.

Sorry I don’t think we have the pieces yet. Watch our spread passing plays including that 4th down play. Josh has no one open too often and that’s a big problem. A bad secondary blanketed our WRs today often. It’s not just design.

Could be, but last year we got guys open toward the later part of the season, and we have a better WR Corp now, it’s not that we should not go after players, but the scheme is not helping our cause as it were, I think they are not taking full advantage of our players skill sets.

Go Bills!!!

I could care less about other games this year.  They mean nothing to today's game which is the topic of conversation.

Allen needs to continue to improve.  To imply today’s loss is his fault is ridiculous.

Today was the offenses fault and Allen as the QB and the leader of the offense will take the lions share of the offensive blame, just like every other QB has since football invented the forward pass.

Today was defensive and offensive faults and because of being dominated up front.  Winning football happens up front as it has since football was invented.
