Well a non-conference game and hopefully something to light a fire under a team that has struggled since their their break.

To be fair to Daboll I like how he has Allen progressing. Throwing receivers open, touch on screens and wheel routes, etc...have all been trending the right way.

In a game where Allen would normally make a bad situation, by bad meaning where both sides of the ball are struggling, worse - he threw it away several times when I expected the hero ball to emerge.

The flip side of this is I am not a fan of the designed QB runs when we are not in the red zone, or sans receiving options. I also think he struggles adjusting his plays to take advantage of personnel and game conditions during games.

We will see, we won't hear anything resembling a public beating in Mcd's pressers, but I expect it will be an interesting week at OBD.

My wife has a phrase she likes at times like this:

Aren’t YOU just a damn ray of sunshine!

You can always count on @CaptnCoke11 to brighten your day. If TBD was the 100 acre wood, he's Eeyore.

Coaching cost us this game in my opinion. The eagles are weak at corner on the outside so we attack the middle of their defense. They struggle with blitzes so we sit back and try to cover

Someone please convince me I'm wrong

Also is this being blown out in the middle of the season becoming a pattern for McDermott? Its only one game but very similar to the past 2 years mid season games where we got absolutely killed

Poor game all around. Pushed around in the trenches. Defense couldn’t stop anything and the offense couldn’t get much going. There are obvious weakness that I’ve been harping on all season.

Meh, I think people are blowing this loss out of proportion. They are still on track for an 11-5 season, my prediction going into this year.

They will be fine.

Just out of curiosity which of their remaining games do you have as the 3 remaining losses?

Physical team. Bills are a finesse team

I don't have any circled. Any team can be beat, any week, I don't look at a schedule and think "That's a loss...that's a win". I look at how well the team is progressing, and what stage of development the QB is in, how old the players are, how the rookies coming might enhance the team...etc.

I want a Super Bowl champion. Not a team that squeaks into the playoffs thanks to an easy schedule and is eliminated before the prime time game on Saturday of Wild Card weekend.

Is this a Super Bowl contender? No? Ok then spare us the “they will be fine” bullspit.

Hahaha...if you were expecting that this season, you are a dreamer. I expected an 11-5 record, hopefully a playoff win. Next season I'm hoping they can make the step up to real contenders.

Explain.. you said we need good big DTs.  We have some good big DTs but struggled today.  What’s your solution?

In the draft like i said before, its not that hard.

they’ll win more than 6.  I think 9-7 is more likely

I think you're right, which will be a huge disappointment, even in they edge into the playoffs. This year's easy schedule is one you pray for each year and it not often repeated. You have to take the fullest advantage of it. It's possible, however, that the Bills simply aren't ready with a QB who clearly needs a lot of work, a WR corp that is at best mediocre and another lousy OL. The defense is quite a bit ahead of the offense, but not good enough to compensate for the offense's ineptness.

We all really have to come to the realization that this team is not very good. Very inconsistent and still very young. And as much as we all love number 17. He needs to improve... ALOT! The Offense daboll is calling is anemic and slow. The run plays are stale. We need a strong exciting offensive playbook.  Not a predictable one which is what we have now. This team is still not ready to compete on a high level consistently and when you lose to a ***** team like the eagles who are all but lost? Says a lot.... this team just isn’t that good. Their record is very deceiving.... just keeping it honest.
