But given that he hesitated and looked off to his PR handler, then cracked a little grin when he said it, um... ....I think he was trying to throw it out of the stadium. No, Im talikng back in September when the whole Patrick M vs Josh Allen talk was going on. He was enquiring as to the fees for throwing it out. Also, he stopped his throwing motion . If he was going for the parking lot he would have followed through.

Josh is not regular, for him that was just a flip. But seriously, wouldn’t you stay behind late one day and see if you CAN jack it out of the stadium? For those who complain about his accuracy, he had the entire planet to hit. All Of Earth! There was only one little speck to miss, New Era Field.....and he missed the rest of the planet! I’m deeply concerned going forward. I'd be pretty surprised if he hadn't done so at one or another point. 1
QCity Posted October 27, 2019 Posted October 27, 2019 This has been a rule for a long time. I remember when Elway scored and afterwards he flipped a ball to a kid in a wheelchair in the first row and got fined for it. Not a good look, NFL.

I think the fine for throwing it out of the stadium is 10k. He said he asked around. I believe he made a comment on that in the interview along with Jim Kelly. I believe it doesn't cost them anything if they hand over the ball to the kid. Edited October 27, 2019 by ganesh

He discussed this very thing with Jim and the intent of the large fine is to keep people in the stands who aren’t looking from getting bonked in the head a’la a baseball game. Handing a ball to a fan is completely fine. The video is from not too long ago when they were chatting about celebrations. It was posted here. Edited October 27, 2019 by TroutDog
LSHMEAB Posted October 27, 2019 Posted October 27, 2019 I'd be pretty upset about this had he perfectly placed the ball in the booth. Room for improvement.
wppete Posted October 27, 2019 Posted October 27, 2019 I hope he does it every TD he scores. That man will earn well over $100million in his career. He can afford these stupid fines...
Locomark Posted October 27, 2019 Posted October 27, 2019 He should have just run into the crowd and hit someone with the crown of his helmet and then he wouldn’t have gotten a fine.... 1 1
rayray808 Posted October 27, 2019 Posted October 27, 2019 so Cam can toss the ball one row deep, but Allen throws it section 224 and itʻs 7k? so itʻs by distance?
ALLEN1QB Posted October 27, 2019 Posted October 27, 2019 The fine $7,000 + $17 for the beer the guy spilled to catch the ball. 2

Not the same thing. But still No Fun League. I'm a insurance underwriter, so that's kind of where my mind goes on these things. 2
US Egg Posted October 27, 2019 Posted October 27, 2019 (edited) So it's more reprehensible for a player to throw a football to fans than one who spits at them ? Edited October 27, 2019 by I am the egg man 1

SlimShady'sSpaceForce Posted October 27, 2019 Posted October 27, 2019 Took em long enough. I knew it the second he threw it. DO IT AGAIN JOSH

Augie Posted October 27, 2019 Posted October 27, 2019 Fined for throwing “into the stands”. Would he have been fined for throwing “into the parking lot”? Hmmmm I guess we’ll never know.....until next time! 1
