Bruffalo Posted October 23, 2019 Posted October 23, 2019 I'd jump on that in a heartbeat. Not only does he have knowledge of the Patriots playbook, arguably our biggest competition this season, he's a phenomenal player when healthy. Him opposite John Brown would be killer. 12 1
Rochesterfan Posted October 23, 2019 Posted October 23, 2019 Does this mean they are expecting something from the NFL - another suspension? Seems strange with the timing that just as he is coming back they do this - not a week or so ago. Not sure I do anything until I am sure of the whole story. 8 1
SlimShady'sSpaceForce Posted October 23, 2019 Posted October 23, 2019 Is that the kid from Cleveland with a checkered past? 3 1

I’m not liking a guy who couldn’t really succeed in NE. 4

As far as I know he kept his head down and didn't cause any problems there. Of course there's possibly something else to this story, I'm not sure why they're moving on.
TheBrownBear Posted October 23, 2019 Posted October 23, 2019 Very strange. Pats must view Sanu and/or Harry as better options than Gordon at this point. If not that, then there's hints of personal problems again. Either way, that doesn't make me very eager to see him in a Bills uniform. 1

Furthermore, I don't imagine he'd be insanely expensive to sign. With the WR trade market the way it is, he might be our best bet to improve the WR core, if that's something the Bills want to do.

Magox Posted October 23, 2019 Posted October 23, 2019 From what I've read he has become a more mature human. I hope they kick the tires on him if he does become available.

Orlando Buffalo Posted October 23, 2019 Posted October 23, 2019 I think he is simply not available enough- but I do not fear him being a prima Donna now. 2
BILLSCRAZY3024 Posted October 23, 2019 Posted October 23, 2019 No thank you on Gordon. He has drug issues and is starting to get hurt a lot more now. Not worth the $$$ or draft pick. Pass on this off field problem. I wished Beane got off his beane bag and traded for Sanu when he was available. Now Patsies got him and the rich continues to get richer. UGH! 1

Yep, if he’s about to be cleared to play, why let him go? Something’s up here. I’ll add this to the long list of things I don’t get.
TheBrownBear Posted October 23, 2019 Posted October 23, 2019 Actually, now that I read into the details, it looks like he was just the victim of a numbers game. It was basically him or Wynn and the Pats needed the OL help more than the receiver help with Harry coming off IR. Gordon isn't under contract next season and he's been chronically nicked up this year. I'd definitely kick the tires if I were the Bills. 1
BUFFALOKIE Posted October 23, 2019 Posted October 23, 2019 Yeah man, I'd like to party with JG. Ima JG too.
