Some of you guys just love that fake drama. 1
dave mcbride Posted October 23, 2019 Posted October 23, 2019 This story is about as Jets-y as it can get. https://www.si.com/nfl/2019/10/23/sam-darnold-jets-patriots-ghost-game-butt-fumble
K-9 Posted October 23, 2019 Posted October 23, 2019 This entire saga points out how ignorant the media, fans, and even some defensive players like Kyle Van Noy can be about a totally innocuous phrase used by QBs and coaches for years. If the Jest hadn’t been blown out or had Darnold not had such a poor outing otherwise, it wouldn’t be as magnified. God forbid the media and the hordes of wannabe bloggers that comprise so much of it nowadays wouldn’t have something to sensationalize. 1 1

Speaking of which, the Bills has Brady seeing ghosts when we played them this year. He was throwing that ball away as quickly as he could, sometimes before the pressure even got there. 1

Why in the world would anyone on the Jets want a mic to be on Darnold.............. AGAINST THE PATS, for Pete's sake? This wouldn't be an issue if the morons who run the Jets let Darnold wear a mic. Nothing good could have come from it, and, Golly Gee, that's what happened. 1

True, but kudos to people who have explained it over the past 48 hours and mostly rendered it a non-story. 2

But that doesn’t excuse the rampant ignorance that ensued.
MAJBobby Posted October 25, 2019 Posted October 25, 2019 The All 22 is showing the Ghosts. So maybe Sam was telling the truth. Is close to Halloween. 1
