Virgil Posted October 22, 2019 Posted October 22, 2019 Mods - feel free to merge this anywhere. Basically, if you merge Tyrod in quarters 1-3 and Allen in the 4th, you have the perfect Quarterback ? 2 4 1 2
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted October 22, 2019 Posted October 22, 2019 I feel like Ben R. Has had similar stats. He can be a little listless and then turns it on late. 2
Bangarang Posted October 22, 2019 Posted October 22, 2019 Hey Josh, if you could play the whole game like you do the 4th quarter thatd be great. 1 1
atlbillsfan1975 Posted October 22, 2019 Posted October 22, 2019 I like that the stats say Allen gets better as the game goes on. This could mean Allen and the coaches figure things out as the game goes along. Plus he doesn’t get scared when the game is on the line. 2
DRA3196 Posted October 22, 2019 Posted October 22, 2019 It takes Josh 3 qtrs. to get the jitters out, by the 4th the kid is ready to play ball. 1

Eh, from the eyeball test, he typically looks the worst to me in the 3rd quarter. Offensive players around him usually hurt him in the 1st quarter. He hurts himself in the 3rd 1
billsfan1959 Posted October 22, 2019 Posted October 22, 2019 Just now, Virgil said: Eh, from the eyeball test, he typically looks the worst to me in the 3rd quarter. Seriously, though, the third quarter has not typically been that strong for the entire offense, not just Allen. I do feel they will become more consistent as the year goes on. 1
ILBillsfan Posted October 22, 2019 Posted October 22, 2019 Seems to me josh is a little over amped early and settles down. Would love to see some nice easy throws to get him in a more relaxed mode early to see if that helps. 2

Well the stats practically say he doesn't do anything at all until the 4th quarter, so yeah, it's hard not to get better than that... If he's ranked 23rd & 26th in those areas overall, yet #1 overall in the 4th, he'd probably be ranked 35th & 38th overall in those categories if you removed the 4th.
Augie Posted October 22, 2019 Posted October 22, 2019 He’s a gamer! Needs to get the jitters out early, and play the whole game that way! ?

Technically, they didn’t score until the 4th quarter on that drive. So apologize for your winky face! 1

That's kind of what would interest me.

buffaloboyinATL Posted October 22, 2019 Posted October 22, 2019 I guess now we know why the Cheaters made sure to knock him out of the game before the 4th quarter. 1

Except if you are playing a team that makes Tyrod actually play QB...then you end up with 70 yards passing going into the 4th Quarter and lots of 3 and outs.
