buffalo mike Posted April 9, 2005 Posted April 9, 2005 What a weapon this would be..... Lions | Project USC's Williams as Tight End - from www.KFFL.com Fri, 8 Apr 2005 14:02:50 -0700 John Czarnecki, of FOXSports.com, reports the Detroit Lions are apparently projecting USC WR Mike Williams as a tight end in the NFL. Some personnel people believe that Williams will be a 245-250-pound player in the league and that he doesn't have the quickness to be a wide receiver.
Pete Posted April 9, 2005 Posted April 9, 2005 Didnt Jerry Rice lack quickness to be a WR? He slid to 16th overall and had Al Toon be selected before him. Mike Williams is gonna be an allpro for years

He was more dominant at USC than any wr to ever come out of there including former #1 overall pick Keyshawn Johnson. Some teams may project him at te, but he'll end up on a team that he will be a lethal wr for years to come.
Dennis in NC Posted April 9, 2005 Posted April 9, 2005 Whew! I thought you meant our 370-lb tight end Mike Williams! Boom! Whap! And you thought Willis gave a mean stiff-arm to those Fish DBs... HAHAHAHA
