Process Posted October 21, 2019 Posted October 21, 2019 That game where he shows he is able to light up a defense with his arm? Where it looks like he can be a true franchise QB? Where he shows that even though he will make mistakes as young qb, he is capable of going up against a guy like Rodgers or Brees or Mahomes and keep up with them in a shootout? I'm talking about a game with 300+ yards and 3+ TDs.... Right now wins are all that matters. But I do care and I do want to see it, because to be able to compete in the playoffs we are going to need a QB that can win and take over a game with his arm. Baker Mayfield had a 4TD game last year and has had several games with 300+ passing yards Daniel Jones had 300+ yards in his first career start Kyle Murray, a rookie on one of the worst teams in the NFL, has 3 300+ yard games in the first half of the year Lamar Jackson went for 300+ and 5TDs against the Dolphins Most thought this would be the week but it wasn't, so when? Next week is an even better opportunity. The Eagles have the worst secondary in the NFL, they get lit up every single week. They also have one of the best run defenses, which should force us to throw the ball. If Allen can't put up numbers against them it's hard to see when it will happen. 1
RiotAct Posted October 21, 2019 Posted October 21, 2019 against the Eagles next week, and yes I care. 6
Helpmenow Posted October 21, 2019 Posted October 21, 2019 The bills play calling makes me wonder sometimes if he can ever develop 1
Hurricane Posted October 21, 2019 Posted October 21, 2019 Still, watching Allen is a lot better than the crap we have had at the position over the last 20 years or so... We're 5-1... All i am worried about is winning next sunday... 2
Big Turk Posted October 21, 2019 Posted October 21, 2019 No i don't need him to. Just figure out ways to do enough to win. He simply is a winner. And that is enough for me. 2
BillsFanCRNA Posted October 21, 2019 Posted October 21, 2019 Keep piling up wins. I couldn't care less when "that game" comes.
SlimShady'sSpaceForce Posted October 21, 2019 Posted October 21, 2019 Win and I don’t care. Sure I wanna see a flawless game but in the end it doesn’t really matter. 5
billsfan714 Posted October 21, 2019 Posted October 21, 2019 i know you will get a million posts saying as long as we win it doesn't matter. IMHO i need to see a 300 3td game this year. Just to show me he can do it. We have had a pretty cupcake schedule. There is going to be a game where you going to have to put up points to win, unless you have a defense like Dilfer did with the Ravens. Seems the one constant outside of the glory years with the exception of a year or two with Bledsoe has been a sub par offense. This team wants to go the next level the offense is going to have to get much better, especially when going against the better teams. 3
Augie Posted October 21, 2019 Posted October 21, 2019 Just keep winning. That’s all I care about. Make progress and I’m good. I think the first 3 quarters were all about setting up another 4th quarter comeback! ? 1

The play calling and and not innovative at all. I want this coaching staff to map out a game plan to score 30 points, which they refuse to do.
Rico Posted October 21, 2019 Posted October 21, 2019 I'd like to see it, but I don't really care, not right now. I remember when Big Ben came into the league & won a lot of games for a rock-solid Steelers team without coming close to lighting anything up. So far at similar points in their career, I would say Josh has shown better intangibles when it comes to being a winner. 7 2

CSBill Posted October 21, 2019 Posted October 21, 2019 Just win! But, yes, I would love to see him get 300+ yards and a bunch of TDs, but with NO TURNOVERS!!!
Tatonka68 Posted October 21, 2019 Posted October 21, 2019 What is Allen Win/loss record? What was Tyrod's, Fitz or anyone elses win/record? The dude has barely played a year in the league give some slack. Does he have room for improvement, YES. So why don't you give him a chance? 1

Lurker Posted October 21, 2019 Posted October 21, 2019 Beating a team with a winning record this season would be 'that game' for me...
Another Fan Posted October 21, 2019 Posted October 21, 2019 (edited) Actually last years final game against the Dolphins might have been that game. Imo fans here loved him here all off season as that was the last image of him all offseason. I've always been in the middle on Josh from when he got drafted. Didn't love or hate the pick, it was more like time will tell if this is a good move or not. I still remain in the middle with him. He hasn't done anything so far this year to really impress me but he's 5-1 and today had no turnovers. But I mean so be it the defense does it's thing and we keep winning that's the main thing with me Edited October 21, 2019 by Another Fan 1
Kangaxx Posted October 21, 2019 Posted October 21, 2019 He had that game vs the dolphins last season. 5 TDs. Needs to work on the deep ball. I think he'll be fine.
stevestojan Posted October 21, 2019 Posted October 21, 2019 Trent Dilfer has a Super Bowl ring. If our defense stays this strong (and yes I think they took today off and still won the game) I couldn’t give a flying ***** if Josh never throws for 300 yards.
