Campy Posted April 8, 2005 Posted April 8, 2005 over it ?? ---roof the ralph 300187 You don't think the elements are a big part of home field advantage for the Bills?
Corp000085 Posted April 8, 2005 Posted April 8, 2005 I hope you're just asking to see what people will say... If you actually were thinking seriously about this, get real. I'll vote yes to a dome on the ralph when lambeau gets a dome.
Marv Levy Posted April 8, 2005 Posted April 8, 2005 Absolutley NOT! Football is meant to be played outside. Not some cushy dome. I never want to see the Bills and a dome together. Plus, It makes it fun when Miami comes to town.... HA HA! I went to the Lions game in the old Silverdome, and let me tell you how lame and boring the atmosphere was. Granted, the Lions stink, but there was no fun in that stadium. Domes Blow - end of discussion.
stevestojan Posted April 8, 2005 Posted April 8, 2005 The day I'm warm at at Bills home game in December is the day I stop being a Bills fan.
Thurman's Helmet Posted April 8, 2005 Posted April 8, 2005 You should hear Colts fans. Its sickeningly pathetic
Tom Posted April 9, 2005 Posted April 9, 2005 How about Doming the parking lot & leaving the stadium alone.
mead107 Posted April 9, 2005 Author Posted April 9, 2005 How about Doming the parking lot & leaving the stadium alone. 300291 i like that idea . i like the open sky , just wanted to know what people thought .
Chalkie Gerzowski Posted April 9, 2005 Posted April 9, 2005 Not a chance. Actually they should have giant snow-making machines behind the light standards.
splinter21 Posted April 9, 2005 Posted April 9, 2005 why is it that we dont play on natural turf?? lambeau has natural turf. the patsies use natural turf. why not us?? i mean artificial turf causes turf toe doesnt it?
Cookie Gilchrist Posted April 9, 2005 Posted April 9, 2005 over it ?? ---roof the ralph 300187 Look how soft the Vikings and their fans became after moving indoors.
Kevbeau Posted April 9, 2005 Posted April 9, 2005 The Georgia Dome is quite possibly the worst place on earth to watch a football game...although I here the Superdome is quite bad.
Marv Levy Posted April 9, 2005 Posted April 9, 2005 why is it that we dont play on natural turf?? lambeau has natural turf. the patsies use natural turf. why not us?? i mean artificial turf causes turf toe doesnt it? 300356 I've wondered this myself too. I really wish RWS was natural turf. Bears are in lousy weather and they have grass; plus the Pats and Pack. Why not Buffalo?
Nanker Posted April 9, 2005 Posted April 9, 2005 Dome the Ralph using Buffalo hides. 300411 Now yer talkin'!
MadBuffaloDisease Posted April 9, 2005 Posted April 9, 2005 I'd favor a retractable dome. That way they could use it for more things, all year round. I'd never close it during Bills games, though, unless there was lightning.
Thurman's Helmet Posted April 9, 2005 Posted April 9, 2005 Teams with retractable roofs ALWAYS close it during bad weather. Its like having a full time dome. I would think the 2 worst places to watch an NFL game are in Indy and Oakland (just for the freak show factor)
MadBuffaloDisease Posted April 9, 2005 Posted April 9, 2005 Teams with retractable roofs ALWAYS close it during bad weather. Its like having a full time dome. There's no rule to say you have to close the dome during bad weather, unless as I said, it's dangerous for the fans and players.
Terry Tate Posted April 9, 2005 Posted April 9, 2005 over it ?? ---roof the ralph 300187 Only if they change the rules. Two teams enter, one team leaves.
