LabattBlue Posted October 17, 2019 Posted October 17, 2019 Who would have guessed that a fried egg on a hamburger would become a thing? 1

Heat from dog liquefies the mayo... Anyway, NOT just Euros. Hoosiers too: I always tell the story about my wife attending Thanksgiving dinner in Terra Haute, Indiana with a friend's family... Back when she went to University of lllinois... Right before she was gonna go in for some cranberry sauce, her friend's aunt took it away and said: "Oh honey, that's not ready yet!" and preceded to throw two huge dollops of mayo on it. My wife nearly hurled! She hasn't been right since at Thanksgiving Day dinner! 1 hour ago, LabattBlue said: Who would have guessed that a fried egg on a hamburger would become a thing? Uh... Since it goes with ham or bacon. Steak? Not really shocking.
Pete Posted October 18, 2019 Posted October 18, 2019 Good crunchy peanut butter on a burger. an egg on everything pomegranates on everything good balsamic vinegar(like aged 30 years) is excellent on strawberries. Strawberries are a great test of balsamic quality. If you add most balsamic to a strawberry, it tastes like balsamic and strawberries. A fine balsamic blends with strawberries, and is sublime

Ridgewaycynic2013 Posted October 20, 2019 Posted October 20, 2019 ALL the Combos are weird. Little pretzel nubs need to stand on their own, none of these gastro nouveau mishmashes. Let’s not forget the parent corporation...Mars. Oh yeah, I’m sure that’s just a coincidence. ?

I must be honest...the watermelon and balsamic wasn’t my own creation. I had it as an accompaniment to a cocktail created by a mixologist at a really fancy restaurant in DC. I do serve it as an appetizer at my BBQ’s in the summer and people rave about it. Yeah but your summer is in December and that is already weird!
