Makes sense the Dolphins grabbed him as Flores had him in NE. Glad he had a stop between the Bills and Dolphins 1

starrymessenger Posted October 16, 2019 Posted October 16, 2019 Interesting to see how a guy who has almost all of the attributes to be successful fails mainly because of one deadly shortcoming. He's a very good athlete with top shelf straight line speed moving forward but apparently cannot backpedal and turn quickly enough to recover when he needs to. It's a flaw that once exposed gets picked on mercilessly. Sort of too bad (especially for him unfortunately). 1

They play a lot of zone in the secondary, but can play man coverage as well, and do in the right situations. They play a lot of nickel defense and only do a modest amount of blitzing. Their success has not come from any secrets that Lewis might spill. It comes from talent and discipline and the fact that Edmunds has grown into the role of defensive signal caller, and does a great job. The secondary also has great communication. 1 1
