As we all know Rosen was benched to start the 4th quarter Sunday with the Fins being down 17-3. Fitz came in and started moving the ball in a way they couldn't all game and almost won it in the end. Rosen wasn't permanently benched though and will start against our Bills on Sunday. HOWEVER, here is what Dolphins head coach Flores had to say:

“I think Josh has done a good job,” Flores said. “I think today he wasn’t having a good day, and I think we’re always going to do what we feel is best for the team and today that was ‘Fitz’ going in in the fourth quarter."

“Josh will continue to be the starter,” Flores said. “If we feel like we need a spark and Fitz has to go in, we’ll continue to do that.”

With that said, Frazier will need to get the D ready for both QBs as  the chances are GREAT Rosen will look terrible and again be benched at some point for Fitz. I'm predicting the change comes at the half. While I have ZERO worries that Fitz can do to our D what he did to the skins, it would be irresponsible for the coaches not to be prepared for the switch. I don't wanna go through yet another nail biter this Sunday, not against the garbage Fins. I love Fitz and root for him to do well whenever it's not against us or could hurt our standings, so this Sunday I would love nothing more to see FitzTragic over FitzMagic. I won't be satisfied with anything less than a 17+ point victory coming off a bye against one of the worst teams in recent memory.

I think I prepare for Fitz and just deal with Rosen if they trot him out on the field. It's not like he is worth game planning for. Rush 4 and let the rest unfold.

Rosen might get pulled for being terrible, or he might get taken off on a cart. We have to be prepared in case Good Fitz makes an appearance. We know that side of him......

It's just smart coaching for a coach to be ambiguous about who might play QB.  Either way Miami should lose and it shouldn't be close. " Need a spark."  Ha.  The Dolphins are already a dumpster fire.  What good is adding a spark to a dumpster fire?  If I were a reporter, that's what I would have asked Flores.

I have secretly been fearing this game since last Sunday.  Fitzmagic better not show up to the stadium on Sunday!!!  I will be at my first game in a couple years please let it be Fitztragic!

I'd rather it be Rosen the whole time given Fitz's history of randomly having great games, but I doubt either QB will pose a problem. If this defense can handle Tom Brady, I think it can handle any QB the Dolphins throw out there.

Hey!  How come they just pulled my press pass?!

The only way for the Bills to lose this game is mentally -- screw up pre-game prep, don't focus, don't take it seriously,  dog your assignments, don't game plan at all, get too cute with play calls, rest the starters too much and too early, all that sort of thing.  The Bills have a superior roster, it's a home game with our rabid fans, and I can't think of a matchup in this game that doesn't favor the Bills (except maybe punter?).

That being said, sometimes better teams do a collective brain cramp (any Georgia fans reading this post?) and games DO get lost mentally.  So it's not a sure thing.  But I believe McD and the team leadership (Gore, Alexander, etc.) WILL keep everyone's heads on straight, so I expect a comfortable win.

Still  . . .
