Well, I'd want to look at it a little more, but I think it's a stretch, just because I wouldn't be quick to say the Bills are better than the Chiefs.

The same. I still have us behind the Chiefs. They just lost two games to teams who are pretty good in their own right in Houston and Indy. I think the Chiefs have some issues right now but they will work it out.

I think the Bills will have a better record than the AFC North winner though. I see NE, then KC, then Buffalo and Houston vying for the 3rd best team.

Funny.   I said something similar in the thread about the Jets game.   I think "depositing wins" is what I was talking about.  The Bills just know how to win.  They have a knack for it.   They need to stick to business.

It feels way too early to me to be thinking all the Bills could end up a wild card team with a better record than the division winner they play.   Could it happen?   Yes, and describe how it might.  But it's much likely that some part of your scenario won't play out as you say.  More likely that the Bills are genuinely only the 5th or 6th best team in the playoffs, or even not in the playoffs at all.

As for the rest of the AFC, I wouldn't be so sure.  We're seeing some real shifts going on, teams winning that didn't look like winners a couple weeks ago.   A lot of new QBs making plays, and a lot of "established" strugglin.   Things are changing in the league.   So I don't think there's any predicting of how strong or weak teams are.   I mean, you watch Darnold today, and if someone told you the Jets could be good enough to finish 9-7, I'm not at all sure that's preposterous.

No it is impossible to finish with a better record than the division winner because if you have the better record you ARE the division winner.

I know, but when you're putting Mahomes, McCoy and Hill on the field, you're a threat to beat anyone.   One game between the Bills and Chiefs, I think it's a push, at best.

By the end of the season, if the Bills offense matures, I'll give you the top two or top one.   With the offense as it's played, they just aren't good enough.

I think the Chiefs are in trouble.  They have a hard game at Denver Thursday night, and if they lose that one, they could spiral.  Their schedule then gets even tougher.

Imo the Bills are the second best team in the AFC. I dare say top 3 in the NFL.

1. Patriots. Strength is D, and weakness is their O line.

2. SF Strength is D and weakness is there O? (I need help I haven’t seen anything but their highlights)

3. Buffalo strength is D weakness I would say is QB.. because he throws to many Interceptions. (Doesn’t mean he is bad or should be replaced but the weakness I see)

Saints. 5-1 with game manager at qb. When they get Brees back they’ll be right back to the favorites they were last year.

I'm not sure what's going on this year, but the AFC has been taking it on the chin so far this season.  The only two winless teams are in the AFC, the Phins and the Bengals.  9 out of the 16 teams in the AFC are at less than .500 after six games.  (The Chargers can get to .500 tonight if they beat the Steelers)

If the Patriots don't collapse down the stretch and we catch them to win the division title outright, we should be in good position for one of the Wild Card spots come playoff time.  The Bills might end up in a situation where they playing on the road against a division winner in the Wild Card round and the Bills have the better record.

We just need to keep depositing wins in the bank every week and pull away from the rest of the conference.  With our schedule the rest of the way (only 4 of the remaining 11 teams we play have a winning record at this point), and an infusion of talent into our offense with Singletary, Kroft, Duke, and Foster getting back on the field for the second half of the season, I think we have a real shot to get to the AFC Championship game this year.

They wont be getting to 3-3 the way they are playing...3rd string Pittsburgh QB is beating them along with Rivers playing terrible as well...

Truly hope JA gets his s together because this thing is there for the taking.

Last year the Bills adjusted the game plan to JA the offensive personal and you saw the results, Hopefully we see the same with the additions of Duke, Singletary, Foster and Kroft

Rest of the season, Allen 198 - 330 - 2409 60% 16 TD's 10 INT. 5 rushing TD;s.

I hate to tell you, but that cliche is not a thing for fans.

Teams Bills have beaten are a combined 5-18. And Bills struggled for long stretches in each of those four wins.

I would say the Bills could beat any team in AFC including New England (maybe 1 out of 5 times on the road). I think they drop one of the games against Ravens or Browns. As long as they beat Miami twice and Jets again, they will be fine to make the playoffs. They will cobble together enough wins over the likes of Denver, Pittsburgh, and Washington to earn the 5th seed.

They'd have no reason to play KC any different from last time in the AFC championship game:    47 runs, dink and dunk, move chains and keep Mahomes and Tyreek on the bench.   KC will give up 30pts.

Would love to see it.  Cant take another 4-1 to 8-8 disaster

We are the best team in the AFC. We aren’t losing another game this year 18-1.

If we do go 18-1, do we get to call it an "undefeated season" like New England does?

Once the Chargers lose tonight, there will be 9 AFC teams with at least 4 losses after only 6 weeks.

That leaves 7: Pats, Bills, Ravens, Texans, Colts, Raiders, Chiefs. Who's the odd one out for the playoffs? Most of you are probably thinking the Raiders (and the pessimists here will suggest the Bills). But check out the Chiefs' schedule, in combination with their injury list and terrible defense. Could they be the odd ones out?

Why not? If maroon could take the Blake Bortles led Jaguars to the AFC championship 2 years ago, it is not out of the realm of possibility. I'm not counting on it yet though.

The Bills aren't even top 3 in the AFC

Pats, Chiefs and Texans all better. Watson is playing at a MVP level right now. we have struggled to beat 4 of the worst teams in the NFL.

your right and whats really concerning about this is it seems patriots have a easy pass to go to there 4rth straight superbowl and eclipse our record because they acctually won them.

GOD DO I HATE THEM!!!

we are in prime position to stop them so i guess its put up or shut up. no more rebuild. no more next year. NOW!!

You're still hanging on to the "4 straight Super Bowls" thing?
