Took them long enough...

Takes two to tango. Report was that Zay was on the block all offseason.

Fairly surprising, as he was the #3, a starter. But if they did it there was a reason.

I (loudly) guessed that if he was gone it would be after the season. I was wrong about that. I think the timing is surprising, but I really did guess wrong about the outcome here.

Good luck to him except when he plays the Bills.

Not surprising at all.  He wasn't good.  Many people pointed out why he wasn't good.  I'm honestly surprised he made the team this year at all.  The nail in the coffin IMO was both a practice squad player out playing him in his first game and Zay not showing any accountability on a play he could have helped break up.

Who could(n)t see this one coming?

Honestly, I couldn't.  I didn't think Zay would see the field again here as long as Duke does well and Foster comes back from injury, but I thought we would keep him as depth.

But then I never saw us cutting both Murphy and McCoy either, and no question our RB room has been thinner than we'd like.

I hope Beane is planning to bring someone in, and I hope he's good.

Considering Peterman's on IR that won't happen anytime soon.

This is 4-D chess happening right before your eyes.

Wow the Raiders now have the TWO worst players in the NFL on their roster.  That’s amazing.

Not really, that’s what we call “The Gruden Effect”.
