It's too bad from everything I've seen of him on here he's a good guy and a good teammate. I'm sure both sides wished there had been more production and that things could of worked out. Good luck.

Yikes that is depressingly low value.

in all fairness, other teams are smart and the Raiders could have easily seen what was going on w/ Zay this year.

I supported Zay, alot, but agree it's time to move on.  Duke was clearly the better looking WR after just 1 game.  Good luck to Zay, and hopefully that future 5th rounder is a gem for us.

And credit is due to AlphaDawg, great call on the trade!

One thing i love about this regime is they are not afraid to move on from a player once they feel they have given them every chance to succeed no matter where they are drafted.

They talk the talk and they walk the walk.

Yeah, they're cutting their losses, no question.  A 2021 fifth, not even a 2020 fifth.

Still, I read it here that Zay had "no value" so I guess it is seen as a good return by Bills Mafia.

Yep....cutting the losses is right,  given the circumstances I think it’s certainly better than just cutting.  It was a disaster of a pick from the start.  Wish the Bills could redo that selection!
