That IS Belichick's brilliance.   He doesn't beat himself in a leauge where it happens 10-12 times a week...

More than that he FORCES you into beating yourself without you even knowing it. The Patriots seemingly get more crazy, lucky plays that you never see than any other team but at some point when all of that is happening every week its not luck.

3 more apparently.

Seriously?  That's a travesty.  At least the Lions vs Packers is coming up, that should be a good game.

The Browns look awful. They are about to implode. No way a rookie head coach will be able to keep these egos in check while he’s coaching so poorly.

Possibly because Haslem was under house arrest or couldn't shake his FBI tail but they didn't interview anyone outside the organization and completely bungled the head coach hire.  They basically gave Kitchens the job because he already knew his way around the facility and had a team polo and mug that says "COACH" on it.

So he's brilliant because the other coaches ARE stupid.  Maybe he's just not stupid.

It takes talent to not be stupid once in a while...

Greg Williams is a hot head. But he kept team under control. Worked well at the end of the year last year.

Through the first 3 quarters with the game on the line, Mayfield is 8 - 22 for 100 yards; 2 INT's and 1 lost fumble.  Now if Mayfield plays most of the 4th quarter he's going to pad his stats big time against 49 back-ups and prevent defense.

This is why analytics are almost useless in the NFL.  More then any sport, a guys stats are dependent on when in the game they came.  It's like a RB who has a couple of big runs at the end of a 35 - 7 beat down.  Or a QB that throws a 50 yard hail Mary TD at the end of a game they're losing by 3 TD's.

Or when the Bills play 6 guys on the goalline and allow a 35 yard pass where there is literally noone for 25 yards on a dump off so they can just come up make the tackle and end the half.

I can't recall the commentator, but someone suggested Gregg would be a good fit on the Redskins.

It’s mostly not luck, but those two instances were absolutely just sheer stupidity. Neither ATL or SEA were “ forced “ into anything. That’s just mythological hocus- pocus nonsense. Just media and ex-Pat drivel and utterly bunk.

Exactly right.  I would be curious as to how the analytics guys handle situational stats if they even think about them at all.

those two super bowls I never want to see again  I still have nightmares with Peter Carroll throwing a slant instead of pounding Marshawn.  Atlanta went into some kind of slumber F Dan Quinn to hell

Wont be long before OBJ starts kicking FG nets.

Will the league then investigate him for domestic violence?  I think they would have to per the new code of conduct, right?

It's a Jedi mind trick.   "These aren't the droids you're looking for. "

I'm waiting for Bosa to pick Baker up by the ankles and whip him against the ground like a wet noodle.

Bosa is a BUCKEYE and what Baker did at the shoe was unforgivable.  Revenge is a dish best served cold.

There will be multiple implosions. Then, one big one.

Has there been precedent in removing previously scheduled teams from prime time games?

Maybe they can unflex their games?
