freddyjj Posted November 15, 2019 Posted November 15, 2019 Don't need to convert him to WR. Just use plays that split RB or FB out and have him on field in either role.
SlimShady'sSpaceForce Posted November 15, 2019 Posted November 15, 2019 All I got is he has been a better pass catcher than a RB for the Bills.
dorquemada Posted November 15, 2019 Posted November 15, 2019 I think it's more likely that Daboll will try to do something cute like line Kroft up on the outside as a WR than to put someone in that can catch a NFL pass. I think Yeldon could be a solid contributor out of the backfield or even in the slot but probably not in the popgun offense. On that note could someone please take Daboll's copy of Madden away from him?
Nextmanup Posted November 15, 2019 Posted November 15, 2019 If Yeldon can't play WR, I would suggest trying Chris Brown. 1

Orlando Buffalo Posted November 15, 2019 Posted November 15, 2019 Using him as a receiving back makes a lot of sense but he can not just learn how to run to routes at a professional level that fast.

DuckyBoys Posted November 15, 2019 Posted November 15, 2019 wish they would have him active and run and pass to the rbs till the wheels fall off
Brianmoorman4jesus Posted December 8, 2019 Author Posted December 8, 2019 I really think activating Yeldon gives you another look against an aggressive defense. The guy killed New England with checkdowns and was our best weapon that day. He can give you a look out of the backfield or spread out wide. Gores legs are shot. Move Yeldon is to give you another look with Singletary. This team desperately needs more pass catchers and Yeldon is that and he is on the roster. Start dressing him and give you a counter to the blitz heavy looks. 1
Brianmoorman4jesus Posted December 21, 2019 Author Posted December 21, 2019 Today is the day to activate Yeldon. The Patriots are excellent at stopping WRs. Yeldon is the answer out of the backfield. He could be a difference maker to offset the blitz and to help get to the soft spot of the patriots defense.
Locomark Posted December 21, 2019 Posted December 21, 2019 Well I still get pissed when McD sends 42 out wide why add another stooge wide !!!
artmalibu Posted December 21, 2019 Posted December 21, 2019 Yes he could play WR!!! but you could bet he is not better than than the guys who are playing. If he were better than some of the guys playing I would think the coaches would know it. Got to have faith that the coaches know their personnel.
billsfan1959 Posted December 21, 2019 Posted December 21, 2019 Yeldon did have 4 catches on 4 targets for 68 yards in the 1st NE***** game - including the two biggest plays on the TD drive. I think the Bills have to use their TEs and RBs in the passing game against NE*****
YoloinOhio Posted December 21, 2019 Posted December 21, 2019 How about he lines up at RB with Singletary and give the opponent something to think about
