Chandler#81 Posted October 4, 2019 Posted October 4, 2019 Don’t they realize this is just a @Gugny rabble rouse? 1
akcash Posted October 4, 2019 Posted October 4, 2019 Mono: "Oh yeah... Splee-een... Did we lock you in a dumpster one time?" Spleen: "Yeah, I got out..." Mono: "Cool man."
snafu Posted October 4, 2019 Posted October 4, 2019 In my brain I’d be thinkin I could be another Lincoln ... if I only had a spleen. 2 1

whatdrought Posted October 4, 2019 Posted October 4, 2019 I always thought the spleen was essentially just a larger appendix... why not just yank that sucker and pop er in a jar of brine?

BigDingus Posted October 4, 2019 Posted October 4, 2019 Didn't Phil Sims' son have to retire because of a ruptured spleen? I could just Google his name, but feeling too lazy to care. Just remember he was the QB for the Bucs, lead them to the playoffs one year, then had a spleen injury that KO'd him from the season. Kevin? Chris? Matt? Something like that. Pretty sure he's an NFL analyst on some network now.

machine gun kelly Posted October 4, 2019 Posted October 4, 2019 I actually feel bad for the kid. My ex when a teenager missed a third of her Junior year and was hospitalized for multiple months due to mono. I don’t wish that on anyone. 2

Because it's not just a large appendix. It actually performs a major function in your body. It filters your blood as part of your immune system. Sourced via WebMD: The spleen plays multiple supporting roles in the body. It acts as a filter for blood as part of the immune system. Old red blood cells are recycled in the spleen, and platelets and white blood cells are stored there. The spleen also helps fight certain kinds of bacteria that cause pneumonia and meningitis.

Chris, and yeah he played most of the game with a ruptured spleen, missed only two plays and was taken to the hospital for "dehydration"
Bleeding Bills Blue Posted October 4, 2019 Posted October 4, 2019 Their seasons rapidly spiralling out of control. To think they were up 16-0 at one point, and probably haven't had a lead since. Offseason champs tho!

Heitz Posted October 4, 2019 Posted October 4, 2019 Adam Gase, Super Genius: "Adam Gase’s desperate desire to bring Sam Darnold back to save the day ultimately put the Jets in a bigger bind entering this weekend’s game in Philly. They're not beating the Eagles with their third-string QB no matter how many reps he gets, so you might as well give the first-team reps to the guy who gives you a chance to win if he can play.
