Phil The Thrill Posted October 2, 2019 Posted October 2, 2019 (edited) Josh Allen took a very brutal looking helmet-to-helmet hit on Sunday and is in concussion protocol. With that being said, he was around teammates in the locker room after and he has been practicing (limited -no contact) with the team. With head injuries being so unpredictable take a guess whether Allen win play! I have a feeling he’ll be starting Sunday Edited October 2, 2019 by Phil The Thrill
MJS Posted October 2, 2019 Posted October 2, 2019 I think so. If the rumors are correct of him being in the 4th stage of the protocol, isn't too much of a stretch to think he will be ready by Sunday. 2
Phil The Thrill Posted October 2, 2019 Author Posted October 2, 2019 Looking pretty active in practice. Yes I know you can practice in CP but something tells me he would be more limited if the symptoms were more severe: 1 2
frostbitmic Posted October 2, 2019 Posted October 2, 2019 (edited) With the bye next week, I believe they'll give him a couple weeks to get back to 100%. Edited October 2, 2019 by frostbitmic 5
Bills Fan of St Augustine Posted October 2, 2019 Posted October 2, 2019 Even at 50% that would be about two turnovers! Winning! 1 3

ALLEN1QB Posted October 2, 2019 Posted October 2, 2019 (edited) There is no way he is going to play this week if I'm the coach I have my starter on Monday get him prepped all week long and ready to go there is no way I'm going to try to get Josh up to speed in a day or two. I'm not even so sure it is a smart idea to have him take a flight in his condition Edited October 2, 2019 by ALLEN1QB
HOUSE Posted October 2, 2019 Posted October 2, 2019 (edited) No he won't. There is a bye week after this game and the smart money says the Bills will sit him him. Edited October 2, 2019 by HOUSE 3

The Jokeman Posted October 2, 2019 Posted October 2, 2019 50/50 shot, I think if he practices in full tomorrow there's a better chance. Yet think he'll be our backup since to practice earlier in the week.

Drunken Pygmy Goat Posted October 2, 2019 Posted October 2, 2019 How can a question be a prediction? Anyway, I say no. It does make sense to sit him Sunday, then have the bye week to fully recover. Also, maybe taking a bit of a step back to reflect on the "hero" stuff and let it sink in might help him and the team going forward. Being in stage 4 is good sign for him, and fir his chances Sunday, but it also helps the Bills gain a bit of a competetive advantage, in that the Titans have to dedicate time to prepare for 2 potential starting QBs this week. The film on Barkley in Buffalo may be short, but it helps nonetheless.
