B-Man Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 (edited) If shoppers universally rebelled at the notion of scanning and bagging their own groceries, a law like this would hardly be necessary. As I wrote today in another thread. This NOT a proper function for any government to take. If there is no (specific) discrimination going on, then it is none of their business if I bag my own groceries . Edited October 1, 2019 by B-Man
row_33 Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 If only those who brought their own bags weren’t usually total ***** at the checkout line
DC Tom Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 Quote Furthermore, “the increasing use of self-service checkouts has a disproportionate negative impact on people of color.” Self-checkout is racist? Get the ***** outta here... 2
3rdnlng Posted October 2, 2019 Posted October 2, 2019 Damn, self-checkout takes away the ability to socialize in the check out aisle. I'm going to miss those stimulating conversations with the person behind me that wants to comment on the weather, and the person in front of me who wonders why I'm buying Imodium.
