Some would say the coach is near psycho then. What Im saying is when a deep throw is put up it is thrown to a spot. The receiver needs to be to that spot. Brown is getting there. Knox is getting there. Im saying that Zay is not getting there. Is thst on Zay?

Allen is not accurately throwing to all of his “spots” and even implying that is one of the most blatant excuses for Allen’s poor play that I’ve seen.

Beasley has as many drops as Jones. Knox has more.

There 3rd wr is bisi johnson (WHO)? 4 caches 35 yard so there is worse than zay. before him was Chad Beebe (Who)? Not on the team anymore and they only have 4 wr on there depth chart. Dalvin cook leads team in catches.

  Don Beebes son that's who.

They aren't getting a significant player back for Zay - unless someone is trying to unload a player - then in that case we'll be the ones giving up a pick.  If the report is true, I'd guess they'll take a pick for him.

and does that sound smart to you if they did that? Trade away a contributor on a team that’s 3rd in the AFC for draft picks? Without really a proven replacement behind him?

Play hardball.   See if they will throw in some compost and grass seeds.

I don't think that was a literal who.

If Steve Tasker's son moved from CFL to NFL we'd know his famous father too. Doesn't mean I'd know who his son is from a "I care because he's any good as a WR" perspective.

Oh, ok. You know where his spots are. I do not. That is why Im saying "is it possible?". Didnt realize you knew that when he threw the ball to the 15yd line and Zay was only at the 18 it was an over throw and not he didnt get to the spot he was supposed to be at. Thanks for the correction.

It’s very possible as I’ve said. I’d rather look and see how exactly this stat house determines their adjustments but I’ll just assume they are looking at the route that was run and the pass placement. No way of knowing if Jones is, I suppose, running wrong routes all the time and that’s why it looks like Allen is under or overthrowing him. I doubt that, but it’s possible. Something tells me if Jones is constantly off on his routes he wouldn’t be on the field though.

Wow thanks for breaking it down for me, much appreciated. Tasker to Bills fans might be a bit more famous that Don Beebe especially to the younger crowd.

Kind of matches up with those tweets from his mom and dad

It's impossible for me to list all the things for which I am thankful.

But you can add to that list that I'm thankful my parents didn't have access to Twitter.

Ain't that the truth. I'm so glad there weren't cameras everywhere to capture my reprobate behavior as a teenager.

Cameras? I can’t imagine my troubles if we even had email or Facebook. I caught it with personal visits and a phone book.

2 things I would add in here...

  1. Regardless of whether or not passes were catchable or not, there is one clear point...and that is Zay and Allen have no chemistry.  Since Allen returned last year against Jax, they have played 10 games together and Zay has 33 yards or less in 7 of them while guys like Foster and Brown have multiple 100 yard games.
  2. Zay himself said after practice in an interview during one of our camps this year that Josh pulled him aside and said he didn't like how he was running his routes and told him what he wanted him to do.  So we already know that Allen has had to talk to Zay about his route running this off season.

For whatever reason, Allen and Zay just aren't clicking on the field.  To be fair, Foster and McKenzie have done even less, although at least McKenzie did score a TD on one of his 3 catches.

Bottom line:  Allen needs more help from his WR's, he cant just keep relying on two small WR's only.

Have Beasley or Knox stood there dumbfounded while opposing DBs picked off any of those bad passes?

Just pointing it out. The breakup attempts are a separate issue from his supposed drops. Obviously all the receivers on the team better learn how to act as defenders, and quickly, given where some of these passes are headed once they leave Allen’s hand.

Exactly...NOTHING gets leaked from there anymore

Leaks don't have to come from the team. Theirs agents, players and players families. All 3 of those sound pretty viable
