cage Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 Nice to see and well deserved. Keep moving up... https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/nfl-rookie-power-rankings-week-5-devin-bush-leads-a-wide-open-rookie-of-the-year-race/ 14. Dawson Knox, TE, Buffalo Bills Stats: 4 games -- 8 receptions for 144 yards and a touchdown; 1 carry for nine yards Knox cracks the list after trending up each of the past two weeks. He has made some high-difficulty catches, including a body-contorting reception this weekend against the Patriots. He was also part of a Buffalo team that enabled Frank Gore to rush for 109 yards. 2 2
LeGOATski Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 Yep. Nice steal in the 3rd. He's outperforming his draft status. Hockenson, Fant, and Knox all look good so far. 7 1
jrober38 Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 Knox needs to be an every down player. He's a great blocker and a legit pass catching threat. There's no reason for Lee Smith to see the field. 13
John from Riverside Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 They need to be working him more..... Lee Smith....really? 1
Kelly the Dog Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 He was out there a decent amount but I truly thought it was a mistake not to try to isolate or target him more in the second half. He's really a weapon with serious skills. 3

C.Biscuit97 Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 Gotta say. I think picking a TE with no tds since high school was kinda insane. But he’s looking like a player. Salute. 1
LeGOATski Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 I'm surprised Hockenson and AJ Brown are not on this list. Both have been beasts so far and their stats back it up.

Solomon Grundy Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 Maybe the Bills coaching staff will notice

atlbillsfan1975 Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 Just think what his stats will be when he can be the every down TE. 1
jwhit34 Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 Coming soon to the list (when he's healthy): Devin Singletary. Ed Oliver could get there too.
YoloinOhio Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 (edited) It’s pretty rare for a TE to be able to contribute as a rookie this early, both as a receiver and a blocker. After listening to his interview this morning with the Nashville radio station it sounds like he is a real student of the game (probably why McBeane loved him) and that only enhances his physical traits. I didn't have a TE with a clear 1st round grade in this draft. I had Hock as a borderline and then I had another 7 graded in the 2nd and 3rd round. I thought it was a very, very good TE class and I didn't think Hock was streets ahead of the other guys. Moreau caught a TD for Oakland this week too. He was my TE8.
YoloinOhio Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 At this point I would make him the 3rd receiving option instead of Zay. 1
PetermansRedemption Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 You know he’s good when I saw a difficult catch being made Sunday and I immediate told my wife “that has to be Dawson Knox”. Because no one else on the team is capable of going up and making a contested catch. He absolutely needs to be featured more. As others have said, no reason Lee Smith should see the field. I’d have Tommy Sweeney far ahead of him too. There isn’t a place in the modern game for a TE who has absolutely no receiving ability.
MJS Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 His confidence has to be very high right now, and sometimes that's all you need to break out. Keep feeding him the ball and I bet he'll keep making big plays. 2
njbuff Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 Let's pray Kroft can actually stay healthy so it can keep Lee Smith off the field. Lee Smith was a great relief pitcher but he sucks as a TE.
