Seasons1992 Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 For me, tonight's dinner has been in the crockpot since 10am. Pork tenderloins and BBQ sauce.
apuszczalowski Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 Give it a few months and the scientists & 'experts' will be telling us to eat more of it and less of something else, and then a few months later something else will cause cancer, etc This happens all the time (but more frequently now it seems). I wouldn't be surprised if it's because scientists and experts are being persuaded by certain industries to find what they find. Just look at the diet trends today, no the latest fad involves eating bacon and high amounts of fat but staying away from Carbs and Sugar even if the sugars are natural from fruits and vegetables. A few years ago it was eliminating gluten. There really one true way to be healthy, and it's to stay active and don't eat in moderation and not so much processed and packaged foods. Talk to the people in their 80s and 90s right now and they probably grew up eating things cooked in lard or having things that may have sugar, but they worked doing physical work during the day and were active. They didn't spend their time sitting around and eating prepackaged foods packed with preservatives and other additives. There's no magic way to be healthy or lose weight outside of being active and not eating so much crap.
