The Jokeman Posted April 8, 2005 Posted April 8, 2005 Let me preface it saying, I think we'll end up getting LJ Shelton for Travis Henry but not sure if we'll end up swapping 2nds, either way my mock wouldn't change. 2nd Round: CB Corey Webster LSU. Will serve as the nickel CB this year and could step into the starting lineup if Nate Clements is lost in next offseason. 3rd Round: OC/OG Jason Brown North Carolina. Teague's contract is also up after this season and Brown is too good to pass up in Round 3. 4th Round: DE Eric Moore. Florida State. 3rd down specialist to give some solid depth behind Schobel. 5th Round: RB Alvin Pearman Virginia. Serviceable RB with great hands. 6th Round: TE Billy Bajema Oklahoma State. Low risk pick incase Euhus can't return from his knee injury. 7th Round: LB Ronald Stanley Michigan State. Can play inside or outside, most likely a special teams player will compete with Haggan.
Smoker2Buffalo Posted April 8, 2005 Posted April 8, 2005 Looks pretty good. Webster is a great pick-up in the 2nd round. Being an MSU fan, I saw Stanley play a lot. He certainly won't be a star, but he's certainly servicable, especially in the 7th round.
LabattBlue Posted April 8, 2005 Posted April 8, 2005 Here is mine for now(I'm sure it will change before draft day)....
BillsGuyInMalta Posted April 8, 2005 Posted April 8, 2005 I like that draft a lot. Especially the Bajema pick in the 6th, he'd be a great value there. A lot of people are down on Webster because he had a sub-par senior year, but the entire LSU squad underperformed. He is going to make a hell of a pro somewhere.
TigerJ Posted April 8, 2005 Posted April 8, 2005 Looks pretty good. Does Moore have the capacity to add some body mass or is he always going to be stuck as a DE in a linebacker's body?

Of course he still has to prove he can play at that size.
