Just because they are 2-0 on the road to start doesn't mean they will end up 3-5 on the road for the season. I say enough with the excuses and go out there and dominate Tennessee. 1

Even if they just punch it in from the two (which should have been the 6 inch yd line BTW). That is not even counting some questionable calls and losing their startibg QB. they could not have EASILY won. the game is dictated by the scoreboard, up 13 the Pats didn't have to risk anything, they knew they didn't play great and still walked out with an easy road win

Disappointed as well. However, what I took away was that they DIDN'T need to play a perfect game to beat the Pats*. Less mistakes? Obviously. But, they could have beaten that team even with those mistakes. 2

RyanC883 Posted September 30, 2019 Posted September 30, 2019 another "moral victory," and more "next year we will surpass the Pats***." The team lost because they made really stupid mistakes at key times. The blocked punt that should never have happened had the punter or McD noticed the max pressure coming. The Allen INT's, and sacks out of FG range after holding onto the ball wayyyyy too long. Take those away, we win.

Rocket94 Posted September 30, 2019 Posted September 30, 2019 With this defense, if the Bills can manage to score 21-24 points they can win a lot of games. I don't think that is asking too much.

They didn't stop playing their game up 13-0 and they certainly didn't stop playing their game up 16-10 most of the second half. Easy road win for them? Hardly 1

They didn't have to play perfect football to win that game yesterday. They made a ton of mistakes & still were in position for the go ahead score at the 2 minute warning. The Bills roster is as talented as the Patriots. The biggest difference between the two clubs right now is that the Patriot know how to win & close out games, the Bills are still in the learning process in that department. That will come with experience. 2

If you think that was an easy win for them i dont even know what to say. That ranks among the stupidest things i've ever seen on this board 3

I can see this D laying an egg in Tennessee. If the Bills get drilled in Tennessee, we will have serious questions during the bye. You can see this D laying an egg for what reason? Based on what evidence? They have played dominating defense for 4 straight games, save for 1 quarter against the Bengals. Mariota isnt Brady. I am profoundly more worried about the offense next week than our defense, especially if Barkley is the starter. Im really confused by your take.

When does the O start to gel and catch up to the D is the big question.

You can't say yet that Buffalo has become a better team than the Patriots, but you can no longer say, based on yesterday's game, that New England is clearly better than Buffalo, and the day could be coming when Josh Allen develops, and learns to take what the defense is giving him, that Buffalo will be the better team. I would not all it a moral victory, but a sign of hope for the future. Well...moral in the sense that the Bills know that they could of won. That is something very positive for this young nucleus to build on. As far as I am concerned, we are entering the twilight of this one sided rivalry.
