I'm going to pile back in here on this.  He's literally the perfect rental player.

1.  We have the cash.

2.  He's a free agent next year so we can let him walk if we dont want to pay the big bucks.

3.  Compensation pick?

4.  Next year is a great wide receiver draft.

Why not take a chance and make a run.  This is a playoff team with a superbowl caliber defense.  Would AJ Green make us better to make a run.  Answer.  Yes.

Speaking of A.J. Green, he’s working out pregame here. Medical checkup scheduled late this week. https://t.co/ySWNup0uQO

People please stop with the AJ Green nonsense.  He listed by the Bengals as being out several more weeks. He's had numerous injury issues and the most important number is 31. When camp starts next July he'll be 32.

Hard pass. I want Zay gonzo as much as the next guy but lets get a capable young wr to go with JA.

Precisely - I'd rather we draft one high with the wealth of WR in this next draft and continue to build the foundation at all position levels. With room for improvement, Allen, Singletary, Knox, Dawkins, [insert 1st round WR here], Oliver, Edmunds, White are all great key pieces to build a team with and maintain high talented youth for several years while maintaining a manageable cap situation - the upside would last longer, for cheaper, and have a higher ceiling.

Will AJ Green be available?  And if so...do we make a move?  I honestly think it will happen before deadline.  He's what could out this team over the hump.

will he be healthy as he CURRENTLY isn’t and said he likely won’t be for 5-8 weeks Last week.

not trading for a 30 year old oft Injured WR that is currently Injured

Why not?  He's in last year of contract.  We literally need 8 to 10 games out of him and make a playoff push.

because you don’t trade for a Hurt WR. He isn’t even going to be healthy by the Trade Deadline

And again.   He's in last year.   This is a rental.  Want to make a superbowl push this year.  We need a couple bodies.

He was working out before game tonight and has the specialist appt this week.  So if he's got a timeline again.  Why not.  He's a rental.

So you're in the promote Duke boat then huh? ;)

Not sure why anyone would be against getting a pro bowler and tall long weapon to make a run...if it doesn't work.  No harm no foul you give him an injury settlement and move on. This D is ready to compete.  The offense needs more help.

Why does it seem like nobody is aware that AJ is hurt and hasn't played a single snap this year.

so would you rather have an all-pro who hasn't played a down as a 1/2 year rental or a practice squad player like Duke who hasn't played a down....it's a no brainer for me. Rent him this year and then sign Gordon away from the Pats as a FA next year....

Know what happens when you see a specialist?  Nothing good

Have the Bengals expressed actual interest in trading Green or has it just been speculation?

Because most people here only watch the Bills and the odd prime time game.

By the end of the season not sure you will think we still need a TE. Knox is gonna get better and better.

I’m becoming a HUGE Knox fan!

What if he can't come back? Or if the injury makes him useless then what? He gets hurt a lot these days, what if he plays 1 game?
