npeartisgod Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 Imagine just for a second if we had done that to the GOAT. National effing News would be all over us. Will the NFL assess a fine at least?

That's the positive. I could have sworn I saw him ask the trainer something along the lines of "where am I?" He looked terrified at the moment. And THEN he ran off the field like everything was good. So we'll see what happens in the next day or so. 1
Bangarang Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 He ran off the field and into the tunnel with arms up pumping the crowd up. Likely in concussion protocol
TheFunPolice Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 I don't think he was out cold... You could see him make sure to get 2 hands on the ball on the way down 6

TigerJ Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 It would be hard to believe that he does not end up in concussion protocol, but his behavior, jogging to the locker room makes me suspect it will be a quick recovery.

LSHMEAB Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 My hunch is that he's not playing next week. When you see an apparent concussion that violent, you have to put football to the side momentarily and consider the kid's long term well being. 1 1
whatdrought Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 I hope he doesn’t miss time, but this isn’t the worst time for it to happen. Barkley with a week to prepare gives us a good chance vs the Titians, and then the bye. I’d rather have Miami next week, but It’s not the end of the world. Just don’t love that it happened. 2
TheFunPolice Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 Love the effort but he has to take care of himself out there 1

If we did that to Brady it would be the maximum fine and 3 or 4 games. 9 1

That’s not really an indicator of how severe a concussion might be. It could still be pretty significant despite his dash into the stadium. 1
123719bwiqrb Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 Josh will get a week or two vacation here to think about this one. Hopefully he'll learn, but I kind of think this is what you get. It's sad, but you rarely see a QB progress much any more.
